2. Important Safety Instructions

3.2 Placement:

Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.

  • Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space on the top, back, and sides for proper air circulation.
  • Do not block air vents.
  • Keep the microwave away from heat sources and water.

3.3 Initial Cleaning:

Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior of the microwave with a damp cloth. Wash the glass turntable and turntable ring in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Place the turntable ring in the center of the oven cavity, then place the glass turntable securely on top of the ring.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview:

The control panel features a digital display, a numeric keypad (0-9), and various function buttons. Familiarize yourself with these controls for optimal use.

4.2 Basic Microwave Cooking (Time Cook):

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the turntable.
  2. Close the oven door.
  3. Press the "Time Cook" button.
  4. Enter the desired cooking time using the numeric keypad.
  5. Press "Start" to begin cooking.

4.3 Power Levels:

The microwave offers 10 power levels (P100 to P10) to suit different cooking needs.

  1. Press "Time Cook".
  2. Enter cooking time.
  3. Press "Power Level" button.
  4. Use the numeric keypad to select a power level (e.g., 1 for P10, 10 for P100).
  5. Press "Start".

4.4 Pre-Programmed Functions:

The microwave includes convenient one-touch settings for common foods:

  • Potatoes: For baking potatoes.
  • Popcorn: For popping microwave popcorn.
  • Pizza: For reheating pizza slices.
  • Beverages: For heating drinks.
  • Frozen Food: For heating various frozen meals.

To use, simply press the corresponding function button. The oven will automatically set the time and power level. Press "Start" if prompted.

4.5 Express Cooking / +30 Seconds:

  • Express Cook: Press a number (1-6) on the keypad to instantly start cooking for that many minutes at full power.
  • +30 Seconds: Press the "+30 Sec" button during or before cooking to add 30 seconds to the cooking time at full power.

4.6 Defrosting (by Time or Weight):

The defrost function allows you to thaw food efficiently.

  • Defrost by Time: Press "Defrost Time", enter the desired defrosting time, then press "Start".
  • Defrost by Weight: Press "Defrost Weight", enter the weight of the food (e.g., 0.5 for 0.5 lbs), then press "Start". The oven will calculate the defrosting time automatically.

4.7 Programmable 2-Stage Cook:

This feature allows you to program two consecutive cooking stages with different power levels and times.

  1. Program the first cooking stage (e.g., "Time Cook" + time + "Power Level" + level).
  2. Program the second cooking stage (e.g., "Time Cook" + time + "Power Level" + level).
  3. Press "Start". The oven will automatically switch from the first stage to the second.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 Interior Cleaning:

Wipe the interior cavity after each use with a damp cloth to prevent food splatters from drying. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent or a microwave-safe cleaner. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

5.2 Exterior Cleaning:

Clean the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid getting water into the ventilation openings. Wipe the control panel gently with a soft, damp cloth; do not use excessive water.

5.3 Turntable Care:

The glass turntable and turntable ring can be washed in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
