3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

3.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the On/Off Key (labeled 9 in Image 2.1) until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the On/Off Key until the power-off options appear on the screen, then select "Power Off". Alternatively, a quick press may put the device into sleep mode.
  • Reset: In case of system unresponsiveness, use a thin object (like a paperclip) to press the Rest button (labeled 10 in Image 2.1) to perform a hard reset.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Navigating the System

Use the Direction Keys (D-pad) or Left/Right Rockers to navigate through menus and select options. The A button typically confirms selections, while the B button usually cancels or goes back.

4.2 Playing Games

The console comes pre-installed with over 15,000 classic games across more than 20 emulator systems. Navigate to the game selection menu, choose your desired emulator, and then select a game to begin playing.

4.3 Adding Games (ROMs)

The console supports adding additional game ROMs via the MicroSD card. To add games:

  1. Power off the console and remove the MicroSD card (TF1-OS slot).
  2. Insert the MicroSD card into a computer's card reader.
  3. Locate the appropriate emulator folders on the MicroSD card.
  4. Transfer your game ROM files into the corresponding emulator folders.
  5. Safely eject the MicroSD card from your computer and reinsert it into the console.
  6. Power on the console. The system should detect the new games.

Note: Ensure ROM files are compatible with the console's emulators. Legal acquisition of ROMs is the user's responsibility.

4.4 Two-Player Connectivity

HHU handheld consoles of the same series may support two-player connectivity. Refer to specific game or emulator settings for instructions on how to link two devices or connect external controllers for multiplayer gameplay.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Device

Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the console's screen and body. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the device.

5.2 Battery Care

  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures.
  • Do not fully discharge the battery frequently.
  • If storing the device for an extended period, ensure the battery is charged to approximately 50-70%.

5.3 Storage

Store the console in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Protect the screen from scratches by using a protective case or screen protector when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Device Does Not Power On:

    Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Connect the console to a power source and attempt to power on after a few minutes of charging. If unresponsive, try pressing the Rest button.

  • Games Not Loading or Crashing:

    Verify that the game ROMs are correctly placed in the appropriate emulator folders on the MicroSD card. Ensure the ROM files are not corrupted and are compatible with the installed emulator versions. Some games may require specific emulator settings.

  • Save Game Issues:

    If experiencing issues with saving game progress, check the MicroSD card for sufficient free space. Ensure the MicroSD card is not corrupted. Some emulators may have specific save state functionalities that need to be managed within the emulator menu.

  • Screen Issues (No Display, Flickering):

    Try restarting the device. If the issue persists, ensure the screen is clean and free from physical damage. Contact support if the problem continues.

  • Controls Unresponsive:

    Check for any physical obstructions around the buttons or joysticks. Restart the device. If specific controls remain unresponsive, it may indicate a hardware issue.
