5. Installation
The Oxhark Flame Electric Fireplace offers two installation methods: wall-mounted or recessed into a wall or TV stand. Both methods are designed to save space and provide a sleek appearance.
5.1 Wall-Mounted Installation
- Attach the mounting bracket to the rear of the fireplace unit.
- Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is away from flammable materials and has access to a 120V outlet.
- Securely fasten the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate hardware for your wall type.
- Carefully lift the fireplace unit and hook it onto the wall-mounted bracket.
- Connect the power cable to a grounded 120V outlet.
- Install the tempered glass front panel and desired fuel bed media (crystals or logs).

5.2 Recessed Installation
For recessed installation, ensure your wall cavity or TV stand opening meets the required dimensions (approximately 48.3"L x 6.6"D x 16.7"H for the 50-inch model). A 6-inch wall cavity is typically required.
- Remove the mounting bracket from the fireplace unit if it is pre-attached.
- Carefully slide the fireplace unit into the prepared wall cavity or TV stand opening.
- Secure the fireplace unit to the framing of the cavity using appropriate screws.
- Connect the power cable to a grounded 120V outlet.
- Install the tempered glass front panel and desired fuel bed media (crystals or logs).
