3. Setup

3.1. Inserting the Micro SD Card

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera, usually protected by the silicone case.
  2. Gently peel back the silicone case to expose the slot.
  3. Insert the provided 32GB Micro SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down, until it clicks into place. Ensure it is fully seated.
  4. Note: The video recording function requires the SD card to be inserted.

3.2. Charging the Camera

  1. Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the camera (located near the SD card slot).
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes about 1.5 hours and provides up to 3 hours of usage.

3.3. Attaching the Lanyard

  1. Thread the adjustable lanyard through the designated loops on the silicone protective case.
  2. Secure the lanyard clips to ensure the camera is safely attached.
  3. Adjust the length of the lanyard for comfortable wear around the neck.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or top) for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
  • To power off: Press and hold the power button again until the screen turns off.

4.2. Menu Navigation

  • Use the directional buttons (up, down, left, right) to navigate through the menu icons on the LCD screen.
  • Press the "OK" or shutter button (usually on top) to select an option or confirm an action.
  • Press the "Back" or power button briefly to return to the previous menu or the home screen.

4.3. Taking Photos

  1. From the home screen, select the camera icon.
  2. Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
  3. Press the shutter button once to take a photo. The image will be saved to the SD card.

4.4. Recording Videos

  1. From the home screen, select the video camera icon.
  2. Press the shutter button once to start recording. A red indicator light or on-screen icon will show recording is active.
  3. Press the shutter button again to stop recording. The video will be saved to the SD card.

4.5. Selfie Mode

  1. While in photo or video mode, locate the camera switch button (often indicated by an arrow or camera icon).
  2. Press this button to switch between the front-facing and rear-facing cameras.
  3. Frame your selfie and press the shutter button to capture.

4.6. Special Features (Frames, Filters, Games, MP3)

  • Frames & Filters: In photo mode, use the directional buttons to browse and select from 28 fun frames, 10 special effects, and 6 filters before taking a picture.
  • Games: Select the game icon from the home screen to access 5 educational games. Use the directional buttons to play.
  • MP3 Playback: Select the music icon to play MP3 files. Files must be loaded onto the Micro SD card from a computer.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body and screen. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

  • Camera freezes: If the camera becomes unresponsive, try pressing and holding the power button for 10-15 seconds to force a restart.
