5. Setup and Installation

1. Prepare Vehicle: Park the ATV/Quad on a level, firm surface. Engage the parking brake. Loosen the lug nuts on the front right wheel.

   • Insert the ball joint stud into the steering knuckle. Install the castle nut and tighten to the manufacturer's specified torque. Install a new cotter pin.
   • Reconnect any brake lines or sensor wires that were detached.
5. Final Tightening: With the vehicle's weight on the suspension (or at ride height), fully tighten the inner pivot bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque. This prevents premature bushing wear.
6. Reinstall Wheel and Test: Reinstall the wheel and tighten lug nuts to specification. Lower the vehicle. Perform a thorough visual inspection and a slow test drive to ensure proper function and no unusual noises.
