6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Volume Control
- The main pedal treadle controls the volume. Pressing the pedal forward increases the volume, while pulling it back decreases the volume.
- The pedal allows for a volume range from 100% down to 30% or complete silence, depending on the pedal's position.
6.2 Boost Function
- The 'BOOST' knob on the side of the pedal adjusts the level of the boost effect.
- Rotate the 'BOOST' knob clockwise to increase the boost level and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
- The boost function is continuously active and controlled by the 'BOOST' knob when turned up.

6.3 Dual Channel Usage
- The pedal supports two independent signal paths. You can connect two separate instruments or use the two channels for different effects loops.
- Volume control applies to both channels simultaneously.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the pedal with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and grime.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish or internal components.
7.2 Storage
- When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the power adapter and store the pedal in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep the pedal in its original packaging or a protective case to prevent damage.
8. Troubleshooting
8.1 No Sound Output
- Check Power: Ensure the DC 9V power adapter is correctly connected and functioning.
- Cable Connections: Verify all instrument cables are securely plugged into the correct input and output jacks.
- Volume Pedal Position: Confirm the pedal treadle is not in the fully 'off' (heel-down) position.
- Other Equipment: Test your instrument and amplifier independently to rule out issues with other components in your signal chain.
8.2 Unwanted Noise or Hum
- Power Supply: Ensure you are using a regulated DC 9V power supply with negative center polarity. Unregulated or incorrect power supplies can introduce noise.
- Cable Quality: Use high-quality, shielded instrument cables.
- Grounding: Check for proper grounding in your electrical setup.
- Proximity to Interference: Move the pedal away from power transformers, fluorescent lights, or other sources of electromagnetic interference.
