4. Setup
4.1 Gel Ball Preparation
Proper gel ball preparation is crucial for optimal performance and to prevent damage to your blaster.
- Place the hardened gel balls in a container with plenty of water.
- Allow them to soak for at least 4 hours, or until they reach approximately 7-8mm in diameter.
- Drain any excess water thoroughly before loading them into the magazine. Excess water can seriously affect trajectory.

4.2 Battery Charging
The AK105 uses an 11.1V rechargeable battery. Always ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
- Connect the 11.1V battery to the provided USB charging cable.
- Plug the USB cable into a compatible AC adapter (not included).
- Charge the battery for approximately 2-3 hours, or until the indicator light on the charger signals a full charge.
4.3 Blaster Assembly
The blaster comes mostly pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final setup:
- Attach the Stock: The stock is foldable. To attach, align the stock with the rear of the blaster body and push it into place until it clicks securely.
- Connect the Battery: Open the battery compartment (usually located in the stock or upper receiver). Connect the fully charged 11.1V battery. Carefully tuck the wires and battery into the compartment and close it.
- Attach Flash Hider/Tracer: The barrel features 14mm counter-clockwise (CCW) threads. Attach the orange flash hider by twisting it counter-clockwise onto the barrel. You may also attach compatible tracers or other accessories.

6. Maintenance
- Gel Ball Storage: Store unhydrated gel balls in a cool, dry place. Store hydrated gel balls in an airtight container, submerged in water, to prevent dehydration.
- Battery Care: Always fully charge the battery after each use and before long-term storage. Do not overcharge or completely drain the battery.
- Cleaning: Keep the blaster clean and free of debris. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior. Avoid getting water inside electronic components.
7. Troubleshooting
- Blaster Not Firing:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly connected.
- Check if the safety switch is disengaged.
- Verify that the magazine is correctly inserted and gel balls are loaded.
- Perform the priming action to ensure gel balls are fed into the firing mechanism.
- Inconsistent Firing/Poor Trajectory:
- Ensure gel balls are properly hydrated and all excess water has been drained.
- Only use hardened gel balls. Soft or generic gel balls may cause feeding issues or damage.
- Blaster Stops Working:
- This blaster is designed for hardened gel balls. Using softer gel balls can cause internal damage.
- If issues persist, contact customer support.
