2. Important Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

The OELFFOW LF-1000 Refrigerator Surge Protector is designed for easy wall mounting.

Installation Steps:

  1. Choose a Location: Select a dry, indoor location near the appliance(s) you wish to protect, ensuring adequate ventilation.
  2. Mount the Protector: Use the provided mounting screws to securely attach the surge protector to a wall. Ensure it is stable and not easily dislodged.
  3. Connect to Power: Plug the surge protector's power cord into a standard 110 VAC wall outlet.
  4. Connect Appliances: Plug your refrigerator and/or other appliances into the two outlets on the surge protector. Ensure plugs are fully inserted.

5. Operation

Once connected, the surge protector will begin monitoring the electrical supply. The digital display will show real-time voltage and current data.

Understanding the Display:

  • The digital display shows current voltage and current draw.
  • LED indicators illuminate to signal specific protection states: Over Current, Under Voltage, Over Voltage, and Power Supply.

Customizing Settings:

The surge protector allows you to customize protection parameters using the four control buttons:

  • SETUP Key: Press to enter the settings menu.
  • Up/Down Keys (▲ / ▼): Use these buttons to adjust values when in the settings menu.
  • ENTER Key: Press to confirm your selected value and move to the next setting or exit the menu.

You can adjust the following parameters:

  • Rated Current: Adjustable from 1-63 A (Default: 16 A)
  • Overvoltage Protection: Adjustable from 120-300 V (Default: > 135 VAC)
  • Undervoltage Protection: Adjustable from 80-100 V (Default: <85 VAC)
  • Reset Time After Failure: Adjustable from 1-120 S (Default: 20 S)

Note: Adjust settings carefully. Incorrect settings may prevent your appliances from operating or reduce protection effectiveness.

6. Maintenance

The OELFFOW LF-1000 Refrigerator Surge Protector requires minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Periodically wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord and plugs for any signs of damage or wear. If damage is found, discontinue use and replace the unit.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the device is not covered or obstructed, allowing for proper airflow.
