Setup Guide

1. Unboxing and Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all listed components are present and undamaged. Included components are the alarm system, interface, and control valve.

2. Installation

The water meter is designed for cold water lines. Ensure proper plumbing connections are made according to local regulations. The device is hydraulically powered.

3. App Integration (Tuya App)

To utilize smart features, download the Tuya App from your device's app store. This device needs to be added via a Tuya Zigbee Hub (not included) in the Tuya App. Follow the in-app instructions for pairing the device with your Zigbee hub.

Operating Instructions

1. Water Quantity Measurement

Once installed and connected, the meter will begin measuring water consumption. You can view various data points in the Tuya App, including total water consumption, monthly water use, instantaneous flow, voltage, and temperature.

2. Data Display on Device

The ultrasonic water meter features an LCD panel for direct display of measurement data. The panel shows various icons indicating status such as normal water flow, valve open/closed, pipe burst, reverse water flow, leakage, alarm warnings, test mode, balance checking, cumulative working hours, water temperature, and low battery.

3. Remote Control and Alerts

The Tuya App allows for remote control of the valve switch. In case of anomalies, the meter will report an alarm message to the app, which then pushes notifications to the user. This includes alerts for empty pipes or transducer faults.

Maintenance

The Tuya Zigbee Smart Valve Ultrasonic Cold Water Meter is designed for low maintenance. Regular checks of the display for any error codes or low battery indicators are recommended. Ensure the area around the meter is kept clean and free from debris.
