4. Operating Modes

The Neatmaster Ultrasonic Pest Repeller features three distinct operating modes, each indicated by a different colored light. These modes are designed to address varying levels of pest infestation.

  • Green Light (Bionic Wave Emitted):

This mode is recommended for light pest infection. The bionic waves emitted are generally not audible to humans or pets.

  • Blue Light (Electromagnetic Wave Emitted):

This mode is suitable for middle pest infection. The electromagnetic waves are also typically not audible to humans or pets.

  • Red Light (Ultrasonic Wave Emitted):

This mode is intended for terrible pest infection. Please note that the ultrasonic waves in this mode CAN be heard by humans and pets and may cause discomfort. It is advised to use this mode when humans and pets are NOT present in the house.

5. Placement and Coverage

Each Neatmaster Ultrasonic Pest Repeller is effective for an area up to 800-1200 Sq.ft. For optimal results, consider the following:

  • Walls and Obstructions: Ultrasonic waves cannot penetrate through walls or solid objects. For this reason, it is recommended to place one unit in each room where pest control is desired.
  • Clear Path: Ensure the device is not obstructed by furniture, curtains, or other large items that could block the emitted waves.
  • Ideal Locations: Suitable for use in various indoor environments such as houses, garages, offices, and hotels.

  • Audible Mode Caution: The Red light mode (Ultrasonic wave) can produce noise audible to humans and pets. Avoid using this mode when people or pets are present in the immediate vicinity to prevent discomfort.
  • High Levels of Ultrasound: While generally safe, prolonged exposure to very high levels of ultrasound can potentially affect biological tissues. Always follow placement guidelines.
  • Material: The device is constructed from plastic and contains an ultrasonic speaker and wiring.
  • Children and Pets: The device is designed to be safe for households with children and common household pets when used as directed. However, direct exposure to the Red mode's audible ultrasonic waves should be avoided for extended periods.

  • Continuous Use: For best results and to prevent pests from returning, continuous operation of the device is recommended.

8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
Device not lighting up.Ensure the device is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Test the outlet with another appliance.
Pest activity increases initially. It is normal for pest activity to increase at the beginning of use. Pests are being driven out of their hiding places by the waves. This is a temporary phase.
Pests are still present after a few days.Ultrasonic waves do not work instantly like chemicals. Typical results can take 3-4 weeks depending on the amount of pests. Ensure continuous operation. Verify proper placement (one unit per room, not obstructed).
Audible noise from the device. The device might be set to Red light mode (Ultrasonic wave), which can be audible. Switch to Green or Blue mode if continuous human/pet presence is required. Use Red mode only when the area is unoccupied.
