6. Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of the PD9260 RV Power Converter. Ensure all power is disconnected before proceeding.

7. Operation

The PD9260 converter operates automatically to provide power and charge your battery. It features an advanced three-stage charging system:

  • Bulk Charge: When the battery requires significant charging, the converter delivers full wattage at 14.4V for a rapid charge.
  • Normal Charge: Once the battery reaches a certain charge level, the voltage drops to 13.6V for a steady, safe charge.
  • Float Mode (Trickle Charge): When the battery is fully charged, it enters a float mode, maintaining the battery at 13.6V to prevent overcharging. If a load is detected, it adjusts the output voltage to 13.6V to cover the load.

The built-in Charge Wizard monitors the battery and load, adjusting the output as needed to ensure optimal battery health and power delivery.
