1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your snow blower. Refer to the included hardware for securing connections.

  1. Attach Lower Handle: Connect the lower handle assembly to the main snow blower unit using the provided knobs and screws. Ensure a secure fit.
  2. Attach Upper Handle: Connect the upper handle to the lower handle. Align the holes and secure with the remaining knobs and screws.
  3. Install Chute: Place the snow discharge chute onto the designated opening on the snow blower. Secure it by tightening the adjustment mechanism.
  4. Connect Chute Control: Attach the chute direction control rod to the chute and the handle mechanism. Test the 180-degree rotation for proper function.
  5. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartments on the snow blower. Insert the two 24V Lithium-Ion batteries firmly until they click into place. Close the battery compartment covers.

5. Operating Instructions

Before operating, ensure batteries are fully charged and securely installed. Clear the area of any objects that could interfere with operation.

  1. Starting the Unit:
    • Press and hold the safety button located on the handle.
    • While holding the safety button, squeeze the trigger handle to start the snow blower. Release the safety button once the unit is running.
  2. Stopping the Unit: Release the trigger handle to stop the snow blower. The dual safety mechanism ensures immediate shutdown.
  3. Adjusting Snow Discharge: Use the 180-degree directional chute control to adjust the direction of snow discharge. This allows you to direct snow away from cleared areas or obstacles.
  4. Clearing Snow:
    • Push the snow blower forward at a steady pace. Avoid forcing the unit through heavy snow.
    • For deep snow (up to 10 inches), clear a path by overlapping passes. For snow deeper than 10 inches, clear a partial width first, then return to clear the remaining width.
    • The dual LED lights provide illumination for operation in low-light conditions.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your snow blower.

  • Cleaning: After each use, remove any snow, ice, or debris from the auger housing, chute, and exterior surfaces. Use a damp cloth; avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods. Charge them periodically if not in use.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the snow blower in a dry, protected area. The ergonomic handle can be folded for compact storage.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect all fasteners, cables, and moving parts for wear or damage. Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your VOLTASK snow blower, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
