4. Setup and Installation

The Parryware Slimline Premium Flush Tank is designed for easy installation and is compatible with most standard Western (EWC) and Indian commodes. It is a floor-mounted exposed cistern.

4.1 Compatibility

This flush tank is suitable for:

  • Standard Western (EWC) commodes
  • Indian commodes
  • Slimline Dual Flush Cistern setups

This flush tank is NOT suitable for:

  • One Piece Toilets
  • Wall Hung Toilets
  • Coupled Closets
  • Dual Flush Wall Hung Toilets
  • Slimline Single Flush Cisterns (as this is a dual flush system)

4.2 Installation Steps (General Guide)

  1. Prepare the Area: Ensure the water supply to the toilet is turned off. Clear the area around the toilet for easy access.
  2. Mount the Tank: Position the flush tank above the commode. Use the provided fixing hardware to securely mount the tank to the wall or appropriate support structure.
  3. Connect Water Inlet: Connect the water supply line to the Slimline Inlet Assembly. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  4. Connect Water Outlet: Connect the Slimline Dual Flush Outlet Assembly to the commode's inlet. Use the provided washers (Outlet Washer & Bung Washer) to ensure a watertight seal.
  5. Install Dual Flush Knob: Insert the dual flush knob into its designated position on the top-center of the tank lid.
  6. Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the water supply and allow the tank to fill. Check all connections for any signs of leakage. Flush the toilet several times to ensure proper operation and check for leaks again.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Parryware Slimline Premium Dual Flush Tank features a dual flush system for efficient water usage.

  • Dual Flush System: The tank offers two flush volumes:
    • Full Flush (10 Liters): Press the larger part of the top-center dual flush knob for solid waste.
    • Partial Flush (5 Liters): Press the smaller part of the top-center dual flush knob for liquid waste. This conserves water.
  • Top-Center Lever: The ergonomically positioned top-center lever allows for easy operation.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your flush tank.

  • Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the flush tank regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the polymer finish.
  • Corrosion Resistance: The polymer build of this tank is designed to resist rust and discoloration, making it suitable for wet bathroom conditions.
  • Internal Components: Periodically inspect the internal inlet and outlet valves for any debris or mineral buildup. If necessary, turn off the water supply, drain the tank, and clean the components.
