2. Setup

2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Power On/Off

To power on the device, slide the switch button to the left. To shut down the device, slide the switch button to the right.

2.3 Bluetooth Connection

The CheerTok Air connects instantly via Bluetooth. No wires or receivers are needed. It automatically powers off after 30 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery.

1. Turn on the CheerTok Air. The blue LED indicator will flash regularly, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. On your host device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to Bluetooth settings.
3. Search for available devices and select "CheerTok Air" to pair.

2.4 Re-pairing

3.1 Device Layout and Buttons

The CheerTok Air features a touchpad area and several buttons for various functions:

• Touchpad Area: Used for cursor movement and clicking.
• Sliding Area (Edges of Touchpad): Used for scrolling and page turns.
• Fn Button: Function button, often used in combination with other buttons for advanced features.
• Camera Button: Activates camera, acts as shutter, and other camera-related functions.
• VOL+/VOL- Buttons: Adjusts volume.

Note: For e-book page turning, this device is NOT compatible with Kindle devices like Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Oasis, but works with Kindle and other e-book apps on phones/tablets.

3.4 Camera Control

Capture photos and videos with ease, switching between lenses and adjusting focus.

• Activate Camera: Double click the Camera Button.
• Shutter: Single click the Camera Button or Volume Button.
• Picture/Filming Switch: Double click the Camera Button.
• Front/Rear Lens Switch: Triple click the Camera Button.
• Focal Adjustment: Swipe Up/Down on the left vertical edge of the touchpad.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Charging

The CheerTok Air features a built-in Type-C port for charging. A single charge (approximately 1.5 hours) provides up to 20 days of continuous use. There is no need for a bulky charging case.

• Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the remote control's Type-C port.
• Connect the other end of the cable to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
• The LED indicator will show charging status (refer to device for specific light patterns).

4.2 Cleaning

The Essential Touchpad Rule: Center vs. Edge

To ensure proper scrolling and page turning:

• ENSURE CONNECTION: Confirm your device is successfully paired via Bluetooth.
• LOCATE THE EDGE: Place your finger on the outermost edge of the touchpad (e.g., the right side edge).
• GESTURE: Slide your finger up or down along this edge. You should see the page scroll or turn instantly!

5.2 Other Issues

• If the device is unresponsive, ensure it is charged and powered on.
• Try re-pairing the device as described in Section 2.4.
