1. Product Overview

The Hiseeu 4K PoE Security Camera System provides comprehensive surveillance for both outdoor and indoor environments. This system features 5MP PoE PTZ cameras with advanced functionalities such as human tracking, 300° pan, 90° tilt, two-way audio, and color night vision. Designed for reliable 24/7 recording, it offers a robust solution for your security needs.

2. What's in the Box

Verify that all components listed below are included in your package:

3. Setup

3.1. System Connection (Plug & Play)

The Hiseeu PoE system is designed for simple plug-and-play installation. Follow these steps to connect your system:

1. Connect NVR to Power and Network: Connect the 52V power adapter to the NVR. Connect the NVR to your router using an Ethernet cable.
2. Connect Cameras: Connect each 5MP PoE PTZ camera to an available PoE port on the NVR using the provided Ethernet cables. The cameras will receive both power and data through a single cable.
3. Connect NVR to Display: Connect the NVR to a monitor or TV using the HDMI or VGA cable.
4. Connect USB Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into one of the NVR's USB ports for navigation.

3.2. Mobile App Setup

For remote access and advanced features, download the free mobile application:

1. Scan the QR code in the user manual or search for "Guard Live" in your device's app store (available on App Store and Google Play).
2. Install the application on your smartphone or tablet.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your NVR system. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the NVR or manually entering its ID.

3.3. System Expansion

The NVR features 8 PoE ports and is expandable to 16 channels. To add more than 8 cameras, an additional PoE switch is required. Note that additional cameras and PoE switches are not included in this package.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) and Human Tracking

The PTZ cameras offer flexible viewing angles and intelligent tracking capabilities:

• Pan: Rotate the camera horizontally up to 300°.
• Tilt: Adjust the camera vertically up to 90°.
• Zoom: Digitally zoom in on specific areas for more detail.
• Human Auto-Tracking: The camera can automatically detect and follow moving human figures within its field of view, ensuring continuous surveillance of suspicious activity.

4.2. Smart Detection and Alerts

The system utilizes AI intelligence to differentiate between humans/vehicles and other objects, reducing false alarms:

• Human/Vehicle Detection: Receive alerts only when a human or vehicle is detected, minimizing notifications from pets or swaying branches.
• Push Notifications: Get instant alerts on your free phone app when motion is detected in the surveillance area.

4.3. Color Night Vision

The cameras support both color night vision and infrared (black and white) modes. You can select the appropriate mode based on your surveillance needs for clear visibility in low-light conditions.

4.4. Two-Way Audio

• 24/7/365 Regular Recording: Continuously records footage, overwriting older data when the 3TB storage is full.
• Motion Detection Recording: Records only when motion is detected, conserving storage space.
• Smart Playback: Easily review recorded footage with options like sync playback for up to 4 cameras simultaneously, allowing you to quickly find important events. The system supports up to 30 days of recording depending on settings and activity.

4.6. Remote Access

Access live video feeds and playback recorded footage from anywhere using the mobile app on your smartphone or tablet.

4.7. Privacy Masking

Set privacy masks to cover specific areas within the camera's view that you do not wish to record, ensuring privacy protection and reducing unnecessary alerts.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Weather Resistance

The cameras are rated IP66 weatherproof, designed to withstand various environmental conditions, including temperatures from -13°F (-25°C) to 131°F (55°C). This ensures reliable operation in rain, snow, and extreme temperatures.

5.2. Cleaning

Periodically clean the camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid using harsh chemicals that may damage the lens coating.

5.3. Firmware Updates

Regularly check for and install firmware updates for your NVR and cameras. Updates often include performance improvements, new features, and security enhancements. Refer to the Hiseeu support website or the mobile app for update instructions.

6. Troubleshooting

• Camera Goes Offline: If a camera frequently goes offline, check the Ethernet cable connection for damage or loose ends. Ensure the NVR's power supply is stable. If the issue persists, try connecting the camera to a different PoE port on the NVR or a PoE switch to rule out port issues. A factory reset of the NVR might resolve persistent connectivity problems, but note that this will erase settings.
• Forgot NVR Password: If you forget your NVR password, contact Hiseeu customer support for assistance with password recovery. They will guide you through the necessary steps, which may involve using a specific app or a reset procedure.
• Mobile App Crashing: If the mobile app (Guard Live) crashes frequently, ensure your smartphone's operating system is up to date. Try clearing the app's cache and data, or reinstalling the app. Verify that you are using the correct version of the app for your system.
• Arming Schedule Not Working: If the arming schedule for motion detection or alerts is not functioning as expected, double-check the schedule settings within the NVR interface and the mobile app. Ensure time zones are correctly configured on both the NVR and your mobile device.
• No Image/Video from Camera: Verify the camera's power and network connection. Ensure the Ethernet cable is securely plugged into both the camera and the NVR. Check the NVR's display settings to confirm the camera channel is enabled and configured correctly.
