3. Product Overview

4. Setup
4.1 Charging
Before first use, fully charge the TK-X4 unit. The built-in 800mAh battery provides up to 40 hours of music or intercom use and up to 500 hours of standby time. Charging time is approximately 2.5 hours.

4.2 Installation
The TK-X4 comes with options for boom and button microphones, suitable for different helmet types.
- Boom Mic: Recommended for open-face or flip-face (convertible) helmets.
- Button Mic: Recommended for full-face helmets.
Use the provided clamp with screws or velcro clip to securely attach the main unit to your helmet.

4.3 Initial Phone Pairing (Two TK-X4 Units)
Before pairing, ensure any previous Bluetooth pairing records are cleared from both TK-X4 units. To clear records, power off the units, then hold down the mode buttons for 8 seconds until pink lights flash twice.
- Turn on both TK-X4 units. Red and blue lights will flash alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and connect to "TK-X4".
- Once connected, the blue light on the TK-X4 will flash slowly, and you will hear "Bluetooth connected".

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Click the phone button once.
- Next Song: Rotate the wheel down.
- Previous Song: Rotate the wheel up.
- Increase Volume: Rotate the wheel down and hold.
- Reduce Volume: Rotate the wheel up and hold.
5.2 Intercom Pairing (Two TK-X4 Units)
After clearing previous pairing records and connecting one unit to your phone:
- Turn on the second TK-X4 unit.
- Hold down the mode buttons on both units for 3 seconds until green lights flash quickly, indicating Intercom Pairing State.
- Click the mode button on one of the units to initiate connection. You will hear "Intercom search".
- Once connected, green lights will flash slowly, and you will hear "Intercom connected". You can now talk with each other.
5.3 Intercom Pairing (Four TK-X4 Units)
For group intercom with up to 4 units (optimal for 4 units, max 6):
- Clear Bluetooth pairing records on all four units (power off, hold mode buttons for 8s).
- Connect one unit to your phone via Bluetooth.
- Turn on the other three TK-X4 units.
- On all four units, hold down the mode button for 3 seconds to enter Intercom Pairing State (green lights flash quickly).
- Click the mode button on Unit 1 to pair with Unit 2.
- Click the mode button on Unit 2 to pair with Unit 3.
- Click the mode button on Unit 3 to pair with Unit 4.
- All units will show blue lights flashing slowly when successfully paired. They can now communicate.

5.4 Intercom Usage
- Start Intercom: Click the power button. Music will automatically pause.
- Hang Up Intercom: Click the power button again. Music will resume.
- Standby State (Hang up intercom & pause music): Click the phone button.
5.5 Music Sharing
To share music between two TK-X4 units:
- Ensure both units have cleared previous pairing records.
- Connect one TK-X4 unit to your phone.
- Turn on the second TK-X4 unit (red & blue lights flash alternately).
- On both units, click the mode button twice. You will hear "Music Sharing".
- Both TK-X4 units can now play and switch songs from the connected phone.

5.6 Universal Pairing
The TK-X4 can pair with most other Bluetooth headsets on the market.
- Clear Bluetooth pairing records on your TK-X4 unit.
- Turn on your TK-X4 unit (red & blue lights flash alternately).
- Triple click the mode button on your TK-X4 to switch to Universal Pairing Mode (green lights flash quickly).
- Turn on the other Bluetooth headset and enter its Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Click the mode button on your TK-X4 to connect. You will hear "Intercom search".
- Once connected, green lights will flash slowly. The unit that initiates pairing is the active unit and can start/hang up intercom calls.

5.7 Voice Assistant
- Start Voice Assistant: Hold down the phone button for 2 seconds.
5.8 FM Radio
- Turn On FM: Double click the mode button.
- Turn Off FM: Double click the mode button again.
6. Maintenance
The TK-X4 is designed for durability with its IP67 waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof features. To ensure longevity:
- Clean the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Ensure charging port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain waterproof integrity.

7. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the unit is fully charged.
- Pairing Issues: Clear all previous pairing records on the TK-X4 and your device before attempting to pair again. Ensure both devices are in pairing mode.
- Intercom Disconnection: Ensure units are within the specified range (up to 2km for 6 units, 800m for 2-way). Obstacles and terrain can affect range.
- Poor Sound Quality/Noise: Verify microphone placement. The advanced DSP and CVC noise reduction should minimize background noise. Ensure speakers are correctly positioned inside the helmet.
- Music Not Playing: Check phone's media volume and ensure the TK-X4 is connected as an audio output device.
