4. Installation

4.1 Physical Installation

The camera is designed for indoor use and can be mounted on a wall or placed on a flat surface. Ensure the installation location provides a clear view of the area you wish to monitor and is within range of your Wi-Fi network.

• Wall Mount: Use the provided wall mount screws to securely attach the camera to a wall.
• Surface Placement: Place the camera on a stable, flat surface such as a shelf or table.

4.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cord to the camera's power input port. Plug the other end into a compatible power adapter (not included) and then into a standard electrical outlet. The camera will power on automatically.

4.3 Network Connection (Wi-Fi)

This camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. For optimal performance, ensure your router is configured to allow connections on the desired frequency band.

4.4 App Setup

1. Download the official camera application from your device's app store (available for Android and iPhone).
2. Register a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or entering its device ID.
4. Configure the camera's Wi-Fi settings through the app.

4.5 Inserting a TF Card

To enable local video recording, insert a TF (MicroSD) card into the designated slot on the camera. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1 Live View and Remote Monitoring

Once the camera is connected to the app, you can access the live video feed from your smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer. This allows you to monitor your premises remotely.

5.2 Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera's motion detection feature can be configured via the app. When motion is detected, the camera can send push notifications to your mobile device and begin recording. The camera also supports automatic tracking of detected movement.

5.3 Two-Way Audio

Utilize the two-way audio function to communicate with individuals near the camera. Tap the microphone icon in the app to speak, and listen through the camera's speaker.

5.4 Night Vision

The camera automatically switches to infrared night vision mode in low-light conditions, providing clear black-and-white video up to 7 meters.

5.5 PTZ Control

Use the pan, tilt, and zoom controls within the mobile app to adjust the camera's viewing angle and focus on specific areas.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Firmware Updates: Regularly check the mobile app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Storage Management: Periodically review and manage recorded footage on your TF card to prevent it from becoming full.

7. Troubleshooting

• Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz or 5GHz and the password is correct. Try moving the camera closer to the router.
• No video feed: Check the power connection and ensure the camera is online in the app. Restart the camera and your router if necessary.
• Motion detection not working: Verify that motion detection is enabled in the app settings and adjust sensitivity levels.
• Poor image quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure adequate lighting or check night vision settings.
• Two-way audio issues: Check microphone and speaker permissions in your phone's app settings. Ensure volume levels are adequate.
• Camera unresponsive: Use the reset button (refer to Figure 4.2) to restore factory settings. You will need to reconfigure the camera after a reset.
