2. Safety Information

• Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage of your power supply is consistent with the pump's requirements (AC110V). Given that the pump operates in a humid environment, it is mandatory to install a leakage switch before the main power switch to prevent electrical hazards.
• Operational Safety: Do not attempt to move the pump while it is in operation. Ensure the pump is placed on a stable, level surface during use.
• Suction Pipe Placement: The bottom valve of the suction pipe must be vertically submerged into the water at a depth of approximately 0.4 meters (1.3 feet) for optimal performance and to prevent air intake.
• Water Quality: If the water quality is poor or contains debris, a filter must be installed on the suction pipe to prevent foreign particles from entering the pump. This protects the pump's internal components and maintains its efficiency.

3. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the pump's performance and longevity.

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the pump and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit.
2. Placement: Position the pump on a firm, level, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the motor.
3. Pipe Connections: Connect the inlet and outlet pipes (approximately 1 inch in size) securely to the pump's ports. Use appropriate sealing tape or compounds to prevent leaks.
4. Suction Pipe Submersion: Lower the suction pipe into the water source, ensuring the bottom valve is submerged vertically to a depth of at least 0.4 meters (1.3 feet).
5. Filter Installation (Optional but Recommended): If pumping water with suspended particles or debris, install a suitable filter on the suction pipe to protect the pump.
6. Electrical Connection: Before plugging in, confirm your power supply is AC110V. Connect the pump to a grounded outlet equipped with a leakage switch as per safety guidelines.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your QB60 pump.

1. Priming (if necessary): For initial use or after extended periods of inactivity, ensure the pump casing is filled with water before starting to prevent dry running.
2. Power On: Once all connections are secure and the suction pipe is correctly submerged, switch on the power supply. The pump will begin operating with low working noise and large displacement.
3. Monitoring: Observe the pump during operation. Ensure there are no unusual noises, vibrations, or leaks. The pump is designed for high-efficiency operation, capable of achieving a maximum head of 35 meters.
4. Power Off: To stop the pump, simply switch off the power supply.
5. Important Note: Never move the pump while it is running.
