5. Setup and Installation

5.2 Cut-out Dimensions

The hob is designed for built-in installation. Ensure your countertop has the correct cut-out dimensions:

5.3 Gas Type Conversion (NG/LPG)

The hob is initially configured for Natural Gas (NG). If you intend to use Propane/Butane (LPG), you must replace the pre-installed nozzles with the provided LPG nozzles. This procedure should be performed by a qualified technician.

5.4 Burner Assembly

Ensure the burner caps, flame diffusers, and pot supports are correctly placed. Incorrect placement can lead to abnormal flames and potential damage to the accessories.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Ignition

To ignite a burner, push down and turn the corresponding control knob counter-clockwise to the maximum flame setting. The electric pulse ignition will automatically spark. Once the flame is lit, hold the knob for a few seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up and activate the safety device. Release the knob; the flame should remain lit.

6.2 Flame Adjustment

After ignition, you can adjust the flame intensity by turning the control knob. Turning it clockwise will decrease the flame size, while turning it counter-clockwise will increase it. For the lowest flame setting, turn the knob to the minimum position. To turn off the burner, turn the knob fully clockwise to the 'OFF' position.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Remove the pan supports, burner caps, and flame diffusers. Wash them with warm soapy water. Ensure all components are completely dry before reassembling them. Periodically check the ignition needle and thermocouple for any residue and clean gently if necessary.
