1. Product Overview
This manual provides instructions for the FINOSEN Preassembled Sliding Closet Door Slab, designed for bypass barn door applications. This product includes two 5-lite frosted glass door slabs and a complete hardware kit for installation. The doors are constructed from MDF wood panels with a water-proof PVC surface, ensuring durability and ease of maintenance.
The double door system is suitable for openings measuring 60 inches in width and 80 inches in height. Each individual door measures 31 inches in width and 78-3/4 inches in height, with a thickness of 7/8 inch. The frosted glass panels offer privacy while allowing light transmission.
2. Parts List
Before beginning installation, verify that all components are present and undamaged. The package includes:
- Two (2) Double 31 x 78-3/4 inch white glass barn door slabs.
- One (1) set of 5 ft bypass pocket door hardware kit.
- All necessary fasteners and accessories for installation.

3. Setup and Installation
The glass doors arrive pre-assembled. The hardware kit facilitates the bypass sliding mechanism. Ensure the door opening is within the specified dimensions of 60 inches (width) by 80 inches (height) for proper fit.
3.1. Pre-Installation Checks
- Measure your door opening to confirm it is 60 inches wide and 80 inches high.
- Inspect all hardware components for any damage.
- Ensure the wall above the door opening is structurally sound to support the track and door weight.
3.2. Track Installation
The 5 ft bypass track should be securely mounted above the door opening. The track can be cut, but only up to 1 inch from each end to maintain proper function. Refer to the detailed instructions provided with the hardware kit for specific mounting procedures.
3.3. Door Roller Attachment
Attach the two wheels (rollers) to each door slab. Position the rollers approximately 2 1/2 inches from the upper corners of each door. Ensure the circular opening for the door pull is correctly oriented before drilling any holes for the rollers or pulls.
3.4. Door Hanging and Adjustment
Carefully hang the door slabs onto the installed track. Adjust the rollers as needed to ensure smooth movement. If the floor is uneven, slight adjustments to the bottom of the door may be necessary to prevent dragging and ensure smooth operation. This may involve carefully sanding or trimming a small amount from the bottom edge of the door.

4. Operation
The FINOSEN sliding closet doors are designed for effortless and quiet operation. Both door panels can be moved independently, allowing for flexible access to your closet space.
4.1. Sliding Mechanism
To open or close the doors, gently push or pull the door panels along the track. The bypass design allows one door to slide in front of the other, providing access to either side of the closet opening.

5. Care and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and appearance of your sliding closet doors.
5.1. Cleaning the Frosted Glass
The frosted glass panels are designed for easy cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth with a mild glass cleaner or soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the frosted surface. Wipe dry with a clean, lint-free cloth to prevent streaks.

5.2. Cleaning the PVC Surface
The MDF wood panels are covered with a water-proof PVC surface, making them resistant to moisture and easy to clean. Wipe the door frames with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive household cleaner. Dry thoroughly to prevent water spots.

5.3. Track Maintenance
Periodically inspect the sliding track for any debris or dust accumulation. Clean the track with a vacuum cleaner or a damp cloth to ensure smooth and unobstructed movement of the door rollers. Lubricate the rollers and track with a silicone-based lubricant if movement becomes stiff.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues that may arise during or after installation.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Doors do not slide smoothly. | Track is dirty or obstructed; rollers are stiff; track is bent; floor is uneven. | Clean the track and rollers. Lubricate rollers with silicone spray. Inspect track for bends and replace if necessary. If the floor is uneven, carefully trim the bottom of the door by a small amount (e.g., 1/2 inch) to allow clearance. |
| Door track appears bent or damaged upon arrival. | Shipping damage or manufacturing defect. | Contact customer support immediately with photos of the damaged part for replacement. Do not attempt to install a bent track. |
| Doors do not align correctly. | Improper roller placement; track not level. | Verify rollers are attached at the correct distance from the door corners. Ensure the track is installed perfectly level. Adjust roller height if possible. |
