3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The calculator requires 2 Lithium Metal button batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the calculator.
- Carefully open the compartment cover.
- Insert the two Lithium Metal batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4. Operation
4.1 Power On/Off
- To turn on the calculator, press the ON/C button.
- To turn off the calculator, press the OFF button.
4.2 Basic Calculator Functions
Use the scientific keypad for standard arithmetic operations (+, -, ×, ÷) and advanced functions (e.g., sin, cos, tan, log, square root, exponentiation). Refer to the button labels for specific functions.
4.3 Using the Notepad
The integrated blue matte LCD screen allows for convenient note-taking and rough work. Use the provided magnetic stylus to write directly on the screen. The screen is designed to be eye-protective.

4.4 Clearing the Notepad
To erase content from the notepad, press the circular Reset button located at the bottom center of the writing area. This action clears the screen instantly.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or unresponsive, it may be time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 3.1 for battery installation.
5.2 Cleaning
To clean the calculator and notepad screen, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the surfaces.
6. Troubleshooting
- Dim Notepad Display: The writing pad's visibility can be affected by ambient light. Ensure you are using the notepad in a well-lit environment.
- Writing Not Registering Properly: Apply firm, consistent pressure with the stylus when writing. If the issue persists, ensure the stylus tip is clean and undamaged.
- Calculator Moves During Use: For optimal stability during use, place the calculator on a flat, non-slip surface.
