Setup Guide
1. Physical Connection
- Place the printer on a stable, flat surface.
- Connect the power cable to the printer's power port and then to a power outlet.
- Connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer (Windows/Mac) if using a wired connection.

2. Loading Labels
- Press the opening button on the side of the printer to open the top cover.
- Insert the thermal labels into the label compartment, ensuring the printable side faces upwards.
- Adjust the movable guides to fit the width of your labels snugly, without creasing them.
- Close the top cover until it clicks into place.

3. Driver Installation & Connectivity
The printer supports USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Use the included USB drive for drivers or download them from the official SOLUX website.
- For Windows/Linux/macOS (USB Connection):
- Insert the provided USB drive into your computer.
- Locate and run the installer for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the driver installation.
- After installation, connect the printer via USB. The system should recognize the printer.
- For macOS users, if the printer does not appear automatically, navigate to System Settings > Printers & Scanners, click "Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax...", select "Solux SX-TLP-2054N-BU" (or similar model name), and choose the appropriate driver.
- For Android/iPhone (Bluetooth Connection):
- Download the "4Barcode" app from your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).
- Open the 4Barcode app.
- Within the app, locate the connection button (usually in the top right corner) to search for and connect to your SOLUX printer via Bluetooth. Note: Do not attempt to pair the printer directly through your device's Bluetooth settings; connection is managed solely through the 4Barcode app.

4. Label Calibration
It is essential to calibrate the printer when changing label sizes to ensure proper feeding and accurate printing. This process helps the printer detect the gaps between labels.
- Turn off the printer.
- Load the desired label size into the printer.
- Press and hold the button on the top of the printer. While holding the button, turn the printer on.
- Continue holding the button until you hear two beeps, then release the button when the light around it starts flashing red.
- The printer will feed a few labels to detect the gap sensor.
- Once calibration is complete, open the printer cover and manually roll the labels back to the starting position if necessary.
