3. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the non-stick heating plate with a damp cloth. Wash the transparent lid and lid cap with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Placement: Place the main base unit on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
  4. Assemble: Place the transparent lid onto the main base unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to prepare fresh popcorn:

  1. Add Ingredients: Using the provided measuring cup, add 120g of popcorn kernels and 30ml of oil to the non-stick heating plate.
  2. Secure Lid: Place the transparent lid securely on the base unit.
  3. Power On: Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. Press the power switch to the 'ON' position. The rotating rod will begin to stir the kernels.
  4. Add Butter (Optional): If desired, place butter into the lid cap. As the machine heats, the butter will melt and drip through the ventilation holes, coating the popcorn evenly.
  5. Popping Process: Popcorn will begin to pop within 3-4 minutes. The electric stirrer ensures even heating and minimizes unpopped kernels.
  6. Power Off: Once popping slows significantly or stops, switch the power button to 'OFF' and unplug the machine.
  7. Serve: Carefully grasp the anti-scald handles on the transparent lid. Invert the entire machine (base unit and lid) to transfer the popcorn into the lid, which now serves as a bowl.
  8. Enjoy: Add additional seasonings if desired and serve.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your popcorn machine.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Heating Plate: The non-stick heating plate can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers that could damage the non-stick coating.
  3. Clean Lid: The transparent lid and lid cap are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water.
  4. Storage: Once clean and dry, the machine's compact design allows for easy storage. The lid can be inverted and placed over the base unit to save space.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your popcorn machine, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Popcorn not popping or very few kernels pop. Insufficient heat; old or dry kernels; incorrect oil amount. Ensure machine is plugged in and powered on. Use fresh, high-quality popcorn kernels. Verify correct oil measurement (30ml).
Popcorn is burning. Too much oil; machine left on too long after popping; insufficient stirring. Use the recommended oil amount. Turn off the machine immediately after popping stops. Ensure the rotating rod is functioning correctly.
Machine stops during operation. Overheat protection activated. Unplug the machine and allow it to cool down for at least 10-15 minutes before attempting to use it again.
Lid is difficult to remove or attach. Lid not aligned correctly. Ensure the lid is properly aligned with the base unit's grooves before attempting to secure or remove it.
