Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the stove from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the electric stove on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance (at least 10 cm clearance from walls or other objects). Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Power Connection: Ensure the temperature control knobs are in the "OFF" position. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The appliance is rated for 2000W, ensure your outlet can support this load.
Operating Instructions
- Initial Use: Before first use, turn the temperature control knobs to the maximum setting for approximately 3-5 minutes without a pot. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and may produce a slight odor or smoke, which is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- Placing Cookware: Place a flat-bottomed pot or pan suitable for electric stoves directly onto the desired heating plate. Ensure the pot covers the heating plate adequately for efficient heat transfer.
- Adjusting Temperature: Turn the corresponding temperature control knob clockwise from "OFF" to the desired heat setting. The power indicator light will illuminate, indicating the plate is heating. The light will cycle on and off as the thermostat maintains the selected temperature.
- Cooking: Monitor your food as it cooks. Adjust the temperature as needed.
- Finishing: Once cooking is complete, turn the temperature control knob counter-clockwise back to the "OFF" position. The power indicator light will turn off.
- Cool Down: Allow the heating plates to cool completely before touching or cleaning the appliance. The plates will remain hot for some time after being turned off.
Note: The stove features multi-stage cooking, allowing both hotplates to be used simultaneously. The built-in memory function helps maintain cooking levels for convenience.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your electric stove.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the stove from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Cleaning the Body: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the stove with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, a mild detergent can be used. Ensure no water enters the electrical components.
- Cleaning the Heating Plates: For spills on the heating plates, allow them to cool, then gently scrape off any dried food with a plastic or wooden scraper. Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or sharp objects, as these can damage the surface.
- Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the entire stove, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: When not in use, ensure the stove is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
