Safety Information

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage, please observe the following precautions:

• Do not expose the speaker to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or open flames.
• While the speaker is IPX6 waterproof, do not submerge it in water for extended periods. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposure to water.
• Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
• Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the speaker. This will void the warranty and may cause damage.
• Keep the speaker away from strong magnetic fields.
• Use only the provided charging cable and a compatible power adapter (5V output) to charge the speaker.
• Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Product Overview

Physical Features

The ZEALOT S85 features a robust and portable design, ideal for both indoor and outdoor environments. It includes integrated handles for easy carrying and passive radiators on the sides with dynamic RGB lighting.

Control Buttons and Ports

The top panel of the speaker houses the main control buttons, while the rear features various connectivity ports protected by a waterproof cover.

Setup

Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. The battery indicator will show charging status.

1. Open the waterproof cover on the rear of the speaker.
2. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's Charge Port.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V USB power adapter (not included).
4. The battery indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
5. Once charging is complete, securely close the waterproof cover to maintain IPX6 rating.

Operating Instructions

Power ON/OFF

• To power ON, press and hold the Power button until the indicator light illuminates.
• To power OFF, press and hold the Power button again until the indicator light turns off.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered ON and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing blue light). If not, press the 'M' button to switch modes.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
3. Search for "ZEALOT S85" in your device's Bluetooth settings.
4. Select "ZEALOT S85" to connect. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.
5. The speaker will automatically connect to the last paired device when powered on, if within range.

Wireless Stereo Pairing (TWS Function)

You can pair two ZEALOT S85 speakers for a true wireless stereo experience.

1. Ensure both S85 speakers are powered ON and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), short press the Dual Pairing button. It will emit a prompt sound.
3. The two speakers will automatically search and pair with each other. A confirmation sound will indicate successful TWS pairing.
4. Once paired, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section.
5. To disconnect TWS, short press the Dual Pairing button on either speaker.

EQ Modes

The speaker offers three customized EQ modes to suit your audio preference:

• Deep Bass: Enhances low-frequency sounds for a powerful bass experience.
• Vocal: Optimizes mid-range frequencies for clear vocal reproduction.
• Balanced: Provides a neutral and well-rounded sound profile.

Press the 'EQ' button to cycle through these modes.

Multiple Playmodes (USB, TF Card, AUX)

In addition to Bluetooth, the S85 supports playback from various sources:

• USB Playback: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing compatible audio files.
• TF Card Playback: Insert a TF (MicroSD) card into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playing compatible audio files.
• AUX-in Mode: Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX-in port. Press the 'M' button to switch to AUX mode if it doesn't switch automatically.

Light Effects

The speaker features dynamic RGB lighting on its passive radiators. Press the Light Effect button to cycle through different lighting modes or to turn the lights off.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents.

Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every three months to prolong battery life.

Battery Care

The speaker contains a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery. To maximize battery lifespan:

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Avoid leaving the speaker connected to power for prolonged periods after it is fully charged.
