Installation and Setup
Installation must be performed by a qualified professional in accordance with all applicable local and national codes and regulations.
1. Pre-Installation Checks
- Verify that the gas supply type (Natural Gas or LPG) matches the appliance's configuration.
- Ensure adequate ventilation in the installation area.
- Confirm that the electrical supply (127-240V for pulse ignition) is available and meets requirements.
2. Dimensions and Countertop Cut-out
Prepare the countertop opening according to the specified dimensions to ensure a proper fit and safe installation.

3. Gas Connection (NG/LPG Conversion)
The hob is factory-set for Natural Gas (NG). If you intend to use LPG (propane/butane), the conversion must be performed by a qualified technician using the provided LPG nozzle sets.
- Disconnect the appliance from the gas supply before any conversion.
- Replace the existing NG nozzles with the appropriate LPG nozzles for each burner.
- Adjust the minimum flame setting if necessary after conversion.
- Connect the gas supply line to the hob's gas connector, ensuring all connections are tight and leak-free. Use a gas leak detector or soapy water to check for leaks.

4. Electrical Connection
Connect the hob to a suitable electrical outlet (127-240V) for the pulse ignition system. Ensure the connection is secure and grounded.
5. Securing the Hob
Place the sealing strips around the edge of the hob opening. Carefully lower the hob into the countertop cut-out. Use the fixed brackets and fixed ring to secure the hob firmly to the countertop from underneath.
Operating Instructions
1. Ignition
- Ensure the gas supply valve is open.
- Push down the control knob for the desired burner and turn it counter-clockwise to the maximum flame position (large flame symbol).
- The pulse igniter will click, and the burner will ignite.
- Hold the knob down for a few seconds after ignition to allow the thermocouple to heat up and activate the flame safety device.
- Release the knob. If the flame goes out, repeat the process.
2. Adjusting Flame
Once the burner is lit, you can adjust the flame size by rotating the control knob between the maximum (large flame symbol) and minimum (small flame symbol) positions. For simmering, use the minimum flame setting.
3. Burner Power Levels
The hob features four burners with distinct power outputs for various cooking tasks:
- Large Burner: 3.3 KW (Ideal for rapid boiling and high-heat cooking)
- Medium Burners (x2): 1.75 KW each (Suitable for general cooking, frying, and sautéing)
- Small Burner: 1 KW (Best for simmering, melting, and low-heat cooking)

4. Safety Features
Each burner is equipped with a thermocouple flame failure device. If the flame accidentally extinguishes (e.g., due to a draft or boil-over), the thermocouple will detect the absence of heat and automatically shut off the gas supply to that burner, preventing gas leakage.
Maintenance and Cleaning

1. General Cleaning

2. Burner Cleaning

- Ensure all burner parts are completely dry before reassembling them. Incorrect reassembly can affect ignition and flame quality.
3. Cast Iron Pan Supports
- The cast iron pan supports can be washed in warm soapy water.
- For baked-on food, soak them before cleaning.
- Dry them completely to prevent rust.
