Operating Instructions
The DAIMOT Shop Vacuum offers 3-in-1 functionality for dry vacuuming, wet vacuuming, and carpet/upholstery shampooing.

Figure 4: Illustration of the vacuum's 3-in-1 capabilities: Dry vacuuming, Wet vacuuming, and Brush (shampooing) mode. An inset shows how to control air flow at the hose handle.
1. Dry Vacuuming:
- Ensure the HEPA filter is clean and correctly installed.
- Attach the desired dry cleaning attachment (e.g., Floor Brush, Crevice Tool, Dust Brush) to the extension wands.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn on the vacuum using the power switch on the motor head.
- Vacuum dry debris from floors, carpets, or other surfaces.
- After use, turn off the vacuum and unplug it. Empty the tank and clean the filter as needed.
2. Wet Vacuuming:
- Remove the HEPA filter before wet vacuuming to prevent damage. A foam filter (not included, but typically used for wet vacs) can be used if available.
- Attach the Floor Brush with squeegee or other appropriate wet pick-up tool.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn on the vacuum.
- Carefully vacuum up liquid spills. Do not overfill the tank; the vacuum has a float mechanism that will shut off suction when the tank is full.
- After use, turn off the vacuum and unplug it. Empty the liquid from the tank and clean the tank thoroughly.
3. Upholstery/Carpet Shampooing (Extraction):
- Ensure the cleaning solution tank is filled with water and shampoo solution as described in the Setup section.
- Attach the Carpet Shampoo Nozzle or Handheld Shampoo Nozzle to the extension wands.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn on the vacuum.
- Press the spray trigger on the remote-control handle to dispense the cleaning solution onto the surface.
- Slowly move the nozzle over the area, applying solution and simultaneously vacuuming it up. Overlap passes slightly.
- For heavily soiled areas, you may pre-spray and allow the solution to dwell for a few minutes before extracting.
- Repeat passes without spraying to extract as much moisture as possible.
- After use, turn off the vacuum and unplug it. Empty the dirty water from the main tank and any remaining solution from the shampoo tank. Rinse both tanks thoroughly.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DAIMOT Shop Vacuum.
1. Emptying and Cleaning the Tank:
- Always unplug the vacuum before emptying.
- Unlatch the motor head and lift it off the tank.

- Rinse the stainless steel tank thoroughly with clean water after each wet use, especially after shampooing, to prevent residue buildup and odors.
- Wipe the exterior of the tank with a damp cloth.
2. Filter Maintenance:

- Foam Filter (for Wet Use - if applicable): If using a foam filter for wet vacuuming, rinse it thoroughly with water after each use and allow it to air dry completely before storage.
3. Cleaning Attachments and Hose:
- Disconnect all attachments and the hose from the vacuum.
- Rinse them with clean water to remove any debris or shampoo residue.
- Ensure all parts are dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew.
