Maintenance
Cleaning the Blades
- After each use, turn off the clipper and remove any attached guide comb.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to brush away loose hairs from the blades.
- For a more thorough cleaning, the blades can be carefully detached (refer to Figure 1 for blade area). Rinse the blades under running water, ensuring the main body of the clipper does not get wet.
- Allow blades to air dry completely before reattaching or storing.
Oiling the Blades
- After cleaning and drying the blades, apply a few drops of the included blade oil to the teeth of the blades.
- Turn on the clipper for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly.
- Wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth.
- Regular oiling helps maintain blade sharpness and ensures smooth operation.
Troubleshooting
- Clipper not turning on: Ensure the clipper is fully charged. Check the charging cable connection.
- Blades pulling hair: The blades may be dull or not properly oiled. Clean and oil the blades. If the issue persists, consider professional blade sharpening or replacement.
- Reduced cutting performance: Hair buildup between the blades can reduce efficiency. Clean the blades thoroughly. Ensure the guide comb is correctly attached.
- Unusual noise or vibration: Turn off the clipper immediately. Check for any foreign objects caught in the blades. Ensure blades are properly aligned and secured.
- Battery not holding charge: Ensure the charging cable and adapter are functioning correctly. If the problem persists, the battery may need servicing.
