4. Assembly and Setup
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.

4.2 Mounting the Sander

5. Operation
5.1 Powering On/Off
Ensure the sander is properly connected to a 120V power outlet. Use the ON/OFF switch to start and stop the motor. Allow the disc to reach full speed before beginning sanding.
5.2 General Sanding Techniques
- Always hold the workpiece firmly against the work table.
- Move the workpiece slowly and evenly across the sanding disc. Avoid applying excessive pressure, which can cause overheating or uneven sanding.
- For best results, sand on the downward rotating side of the disc to prevent the workpiece from being thrown upwards.
- Periodically check the workpiece for desired finish and dimensions.
5.3 Using the Miter Gauge
The miter gauge allows for precise angle sanding. Adjust the miter gauge to the desired angle, lock it in place, and then guide the workpiece along the gauge while pressing it against the sanding disc.
5.4 Sanding Different Materials
- Wood: Use appropriate grit sandpaper for the desired finish. Start with coarser grits for heavy removal and progress to finer grits for smoothing.
- Metal: Use specific abrasive discs designed for metal. Be aware of sparks and heat generation. Ensure proper ventilation.
- Plastics/Acrylics: Use light pressure and avoid excessive heat buildup, which can melt or deform the material.
6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Sander
