5.1 Preparing the Opening
- Measure the rough opening required for the window. The template provided with the window can be used to mark the precise cutout dimensions.
- Carefully cut the opening in the RV or trailer wall. Ensure the edges are clean and smooth.
5.2 Mounting the Window
- Apply a bead of sealant (silicone or synthetic sealant) around the outside perimeter of the window frame on the exterior side of the RV. Avoid applying sealant to the bottom edge to allow for drainage.
- Position the main window unit from the exterior into the prepared opening.
- From the interior, align the inner trim ring with the window unit.
- Secure the window by driving the provided screws through the inner trim ring and into the main window frame. Tighten screws evenly to create a secure, watertight seal.

To ensure smooth operation of the sliding glass panel, periodically apply a small amount of lubricant (such as silicone spray or a few drops of oil) to the tracks. This prevents sticking and wear over time.
7.2 Cleaning
- Clean the glass with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
- Wipe down the aluminum frame with a mild soap and water solution.
- The screen can be gently cleaned with a soft brush or vacuumed to remove dust and debris.

8. Troubleshooting
- Window sticks or is difficult to slide: Apply lubricant to the tracks as described in the Maintenance section. Check for any debris in the tracks and clean if necessary.
- Water leakage: Inspect the sealant around the exterior frame. Reapply sealant if any gaps or cracks are found. Ensure screws are tightened appropriately.
- Screen damage: The screen can be replaced if torn or damaged. Refer to the screen removal video for guidance.
