Thank you for choosing the Maclean Motion Sensor LED Lamp. This manual provides important information regarding the installation, operation, and maintenance of your new LED lamp. Please read it thoroughly before installation and keep it for future reference.

This energy-efficient LED lamp features a built-in PIR motion sensor, offering adjustable lighting time and ambient light detection. Its robust, stylish, and modern housing is weatherproof with an IP65 rating, making it suitable for various outdoor and indoor applications.

Safety Information

Please observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage:

• Electrical Safety: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring regulations. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before installation or maintenance.
• Voltage: This lamp operates on 220 Volts. Verify your power supply matches this requirement.
• Mounting: Mount the lamp securely on a stable surface. Ensure the mounting location can support the lamp's weight.
• IP65 Rating: The lamp is IP65 rated for protection against dust and water jets. While suitable for outdoor use, avoid submerging it in water.
• Heat: Do not cover the lamp during operation, as this may lead to overheating.
• Disposal: Dispose of the product responsibly at the end of its life cycle, following local regulations for electronic waste.

Carefully unpack the box and ensure all items are present and undamaged:

Note: Connecting cables are not included and must be supplied by the installer.

Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Choose Location: Select a suitable wall-mount location, ensuring it is within reach of the power supply and provides the desired coverage area for motion detection.
2. Power Disconnection: Before starting any electrical work, ensure the main power supply to the installation area is switched off at the circuit breaker.
3. Mark Drilling Points: Use the lamp's mounting base as a template to mark the drilling points on the wall.
4. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points and insert the provided wall plugs.
5. Wiring: Open the lamp's wiring compartment. Connect the live (L) and neutral (N) wires from your power supply to the corresponding terminals inside the lamp. Ensure connections are secure. The lamp uses a two-wire connection system.
6. Mount the Lamp: Secure the lamp's base to the wall using the provided screws.
7. Seal: Ensure the wiring compartment is properly sealed to maintain the IP65 rating.

Operating Instructions

The Maclean Motion Sensor LED Lamp features adjustable settings for optimal performance:

• STBY (Standby/Continuous Light Duration): This dial might control a continuous light mode or a very long delay before turning off, or perhaps the sensitivity of the sensor. The image shows values like 5h, 1h, 30min.
• LUX (Ambient Light Sensitivity): This dial controls the ambient light level at which the sensor will activate the lamp.
  • Turn towards the sun icon (+) for activation in brighter conditions (daylight).
  • Turn towards the moon icon (-) for activation only in darker conditions (dusk/night).
• TIME (Illumination Duration): This dial sets how long the lamp remains illuminated after motion is detected and no further motion is sensed.
  • Adjust from approximately 10 seconds to 7 minutes (based on image markings).

Motion Detection: The PIR motion sensor has a detection range of up to 9 meters and a beam angle of 120 degrees, ensuring wide coverage.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Maclean LED lamp:

• Cleaning: Clean the lamp's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the power is off before cleaning.
• Inspection: Periodically check the wiring and mounting for any signs of wear or damage.
• LED Lifespan: The integrated LED light source has a long lifespan (up to 25,000 hours) and is not user-replaceable.
