4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Pre-Installation Steps

1. Disconnect Data Cable: Gently press down on the small tab on the tailpiece connector and pull the two halves of the lock assembly apart to disconnect the data cable.
2. Remove Interior Cover: Remove the interior assembly cover by unscrewing the small screw on the underside.
3. Remove Fixing Bolts: Unscrew the two fixing bolts to completely remove the interior assembly.

4.3 Battery Installation

1. The ThorBolt MK1 requires 4 x AA Alkaline batteries (NOT included). Always use new batteries from a single brand.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Unlocking the Lock

• Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.
