  2. Exhaust System: Connect the exhaust pipe to the heater and route it safely outside the vehicle or enclosure to prevent carbon monoxide buildup. Ensure the exhaust pipe is clear of any flammable materials.
  3. Air Intake: Connect the inlet air pipe and ensure it draws clean air. The air filter should be installed on the intake.
  4. Hot Air Outlet: Connect the hot air outlet pipe and direct the warm air to the desired area.
  5. Fuel Connection: Fill the integrated fuel tank with diesel. Ensure the fuel cap is tightly secured. Connect the fuel line if an external tank is used (not applicable for integrated unit).
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect the heater to a 12V power source using the provided connection line. Ensure correct polarity and a secure connection.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your VELPAX Diesel Air Heater.

5.1 Starting the Heater

  1. Ensure the heater is properly installed and connected to a 12V power source.
  2. Verify that the fuel tank contains sufficient diesel.
  3. Press the Power button on the LCD control panel or the ON/OFF switch on the remote control. The heater will initiate its start-up sequence.

5.2 Adjusting Temperature and Settings

  1. Once the heater is running, use the Up and Down arrow buttons on the LCD panel or the remote control to adjust the desired temperature. The adjustable temperature range is 18°C-40°C (64°F-104°F).
  2. Press the Settings button on the LCD panel or remote to access additional settings such as fan speed or timer functions. Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate and OK to confirm.

5.3 Using the Timer Function

The 24-hour timer allows you to schedule the heater to turn on or off automatically. Refer to the LCD control panel image (Image 3.2) for visual guidance on timer settings.

  2. Set the desired start and stop times using the Up/Down arrows and confirm with OK.

  2. The heater will enter a cool-down phase to prevent overheating. Do not disconnect power during this phase.
  3. Once the cool-down phase is complete, the heater will shut down completely.
