4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the speaker using the provided USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter (not included). The charging indicator lights will show the charging status.

Note: Avoid charging the speaker while playing audio at high volumes to prevent potential battery degradation.

4.2 Attaching the Shoulder Strap

Attach the metal buckles of the adjustable shoulder strap to the designated loops on each end of the speaker for easy carrying.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• To Power On: Long press the Power button (O) until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns on.
• To Power Off: Long press the Power button (O) again until the indicator light turns off.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing blue LED.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "S223B" from the list of devices.
4. Once successfully paired, the blue LED will remain solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

5.3 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve immersive stereo sound, you can pair two Passau S223B speakers together:

1. Ensure both S223B speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Play/Pause button (►). It will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.2. Audio will play in stereo across both speakers.

5.4 RGB Lighting Control

The speaker features dynamic RGB lighting. To cycle through different light modes or turn off the lights, short press the dedicated Light button (usually integrated with the Mode button or a separate button, refer to your specific unit's markings if different from general controls).

5.5 USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB-A port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing music. Use the Previous/Next and Play/Pause buttons to control playback.

5.6 Hands-free Calling

When connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls:

• Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause button (►).
• End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button (►) during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button (►).

6. Maintenance

• Keep the speaker away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Clean the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure the port cover is securely closed when near water to maintain IPX5 water resistance.
