1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Passau Portable Bluetooth Speaker S223B. This speaker is designed to deliver powerful stereo sound with deep bass, featuring dual full-range drivers and passive radiators. It includes Bluetooth 5.3 for stable wireless connectivity, TWS pairing for enhanced stereo experience, RGB lighting, and a built-in microphone for hands-free calls. Its IPX5 waterproof rating and portable design make it suitable for various indoor and outdoor activities. Control Buttons:

• Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off.

• Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume. Hold to skip to the next track.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). A full charge may take up to 24 hours to ensure optimal battery performance and a 6-hour playtime at high volume with RGB lights off.

4.2 Powering On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the Power button until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns on.
• To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the indicator light turns off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing blue light). If not, press the 'M' (Mode) button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Passau S223B" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the blue indicator light will remain solid.
5. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device's Bluetooth is active and within range (up to 36 feet).

5.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve a true stereo sound experience, you can pair two Passau S223B speakers together.

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing blue light).
2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Play/Pause button. The speaker will emit a sound indicating it's searching for another speaker.
3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the indicator light on the primary speaker will flash slowly, while the secondary speaker's light will be solid.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.1.
5. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

5.3 RGB Lighting

The speaker features RGB breathing lights that change colors cyclically. Press the dedicated RGB Light button to cycle through different light modes or to turn the lights off. Turning off the RGB lights can extend battery life.

5.4 Hands-free Calling

When connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the built-in microphone allows you to answer calls directly through the speaker.

• Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once to answer an incoming call.
• End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once to end an ongoing call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button to reject an incoming call.

6. Charging

To charge the speaker, connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker's Type-C port and a USB power source. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge provides extended music playback, up to all day depending on volume and RGB light usage.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Water Resistance: The speaker has an IPX5 rating, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. It can withstand splashes, rain, and gentle sprays. Do not submerge the speaker in water. Ensure the silicone cover for the ports is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
• Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
