2. Package Contents

3. Setup and Installation
The COSTWAY Massage Chair is designed for easy, installation-free setup, arriving largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps to prepare your chair for use.
3.1 Unboxing and Positioning
- Cut off the packing tape: Carefully cut all green packing tapes securing the outer box with scissors.
- Remove the outer box: Buckle down the removal port or lift the shell from the bottom to remove the outer cardboard box. This may require two people.
- Remove foam and board: Carefully remove the top foam and wooden board pieces protecting the chair.
- Remove calf and accessories: Remove the calf section, take out any accessories, and remove the remaining plastic bag and foam from inside the calf area.
- Open host packaging bag: Carefully open the main packaging bag covering the chair. Avoid obstructing transportation points when lifting the massage chair.
- Lift and position the chair: With assistance, lift the chair to its planned position. Note the notches on the front armrests and back cover for safe lifting.

3.2 Calf Assembly and Connections
- Remove protective foam: Remove the protective foam pieces from the calves.
- Remove calf covers: Remove the left and right calf covers by unscrewing one fixing screw for each. Open the calf covers.
- Insert air tubes: Carefully insert the air tubes into their designated ports.
- Attach calf to bracket: Attach the calf section to the bracket and install the set screws to secure it.
- Zipper up: Zip up the leg and cushion zippers to secure the calf covers.
3.3 Controller Setup
- Open accessory kit: Open the accessory kit to retrieve the instruction manual, screw kit, power cord, and hand controller bracket.
- Remove manual controller bracket: Take out the manual controller bracket and its screws from the accessory kit.
- Place bracket over mounting holes: Place the manual controller bracket over the bracket mounting holes on the armrest, ensuring proper alignment.
- Install controller bracket: Use the three small screws provided to securely install the manual controller bracket.
- Install decorative cover: Install the decorative cover of the manual controller bracket. Pay attention to snap the outside edge first for a secure fit.
- Remove hand controller: Remove the hand controller box and carefully take out the hand controller.
- Align hand controller plug: When installing the hand controller, ensure the plug and jack are aligned correctly to avoid damage.
- Plug in and secure hand controller: Plug in the hand controller cable and screw on the knob. Place the hand controller on its bracket.
- Plug in power cord and turn on: Plug the power cord into the chair's power input and then into a wall outlet. Turn on the main power switch located near the power input.
