1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new RadioShack Cordless Phone. Designed for both home and office use, this landline phone offers convenient features such as Caller ID, a comprehensive phone book, and customizable ringtones to enhance your communication experience.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup
3.1. Installing Batteries
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
- Insert the two AAA rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2. Connecting the Base Unit
- Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the LINE jack on the back of the base unit.
- Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall jack.
- Plug the small end of the AC power adapter into the DC 6V power jack on the back of the base unit.
- Plug the large end of the AC power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

3.3. Charging the Handset
Place the handset on the base unit. The handset will begin charging. Allow the handset to charge for at least 12-15 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery performance.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Making Calls
- To dial manually: Pick up the handset or press the TALK button. Enter the phone number using the keypad.
- To dial from phonebook: Press the PHONEBOOK button, navigate to the desired contact, and press TALK.
4.2. Answering Calls
When the phone rings, pick up the handset or press the TALK button to answer the call.
4.3. Using Caller ID
The phone's display will show the incoming caller's number and name (if available in your service and phonebook) before you answer. The phone stores up to 30 Caller ID memories for review.
4.4. Phonebook Management
The phone supports up to 50 phonebook memories. You can add, edit, and delete contacts. Refer to the on-screen menu for detailed steps on managing your phonebook entries.
4.5. Customizable Ringtones
Choose from 10 different ringtones for external and intercom calls. Access the phone's menu settings to select your preferred ringtone.
4.6. Hands-Free Speakerphone
During a call, press the SPEAKER button to activate the hands-free speakerphone function. Press it again to return to handset mode.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your RadioShack Cordless Phone, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the handset and base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: Use only the specified rechargeable batteries. If the phone will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
- Placement: Avoid placing the phone in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in areas with high humidity.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your phone, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
