Introduction

Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install the Zelnoox Binocular Tripod Adapter BC-03:

1. Attach Threaded Stud to Binoculars:

   Locate the 1/4"-20 threaded port on the front hinge of your binoculars. Screw the threaded stud into this port until it is finger-tight. Use a 4mm Allen wrench to further tighten the stud, and a 2mm Allen wrench to reinforce it, ensuring a secure connection.

2. Attach Adapter Post to Threaded Stud:

   Align the adapter post with the threaded stud attached to your binoculars. Press the safety lock button on the adapter post and slide the post onto the stud. Release the safety lock to engage the anti-drop mechanism. Tighten the locking knob on top of the adapter post by turning it clockwise until the binoculars are firmly secured to the adapter.

3. Mount to Tripod:

   The adapter offers two mounting options for your tripod:

   • Arca-Swiss Compatible Tripod Head: If your tripod head has an Arca-Swiss clamp, simply slide the detachable Arca-Swiss dovetail base of the adapter into the clamp and secure it.

   • Standard 1/4"-20 Threaded Tripod: If your tripod has a standard 1/4"-20 threaded stud, remove the Arca-Swiss dovetail base from the adapter. Then, screw the adapter post directly onto the tripod's 1/4"-20 stud.

Operating Instructions

• Quick Release Function: To quickly detach your binoculars from the adapter, press the safety lock button and slide the adapter post off the threaded stud. This allows for easy transition between tripod-mounted and handheld viewing.
• Re-attachment: To re-attach, simply align the adapter post with the threaded stud, press the safety lock, slide it on, and release the safety lock. Ensure the locking knob is tightened for stability.
• Stable Viewing: For optimal stability, especially with heavier binoculars, ensure all connections (binocular to adapter, adapter to tripod) are tightened. Using a tripod with a horizontal center column can further enhance the viewing experience.
