3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the components of your RAPIQUE R09 mouse:

- Left Button: Standard left-click function.

4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
The RAPIQUE R09 mouse requires one AA battery (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse.
- Slide open the battery cover.
- Insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.

4.2. Connecting via 2.4 GHz USB Receiver
- Remove the USB receiver from its storage slot on the underside of the mouse.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer or device.
- Slide the mode switch button on the underside of the mouse to the "2.4G" position. The red indicator light will illuminate.
- Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch. The mouse is plug-and-play and should connect automatically.
4.3. Connecting via Bluetooth
The RAPIQUE R09 mouse supports two Bluetooth channels (BT1 and BT2) for multi-device connectivity.
- Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch.
- Slide the mode switch button on the underside of the mouse to either "BT1" (green light) or "BT2" (blue light).
- For first-time pairing, or if the indicator light is not flashing quickly, press and hold the mode switch button for 3 seconds until the light flashes rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
- On your device (laptop, iPad, MacBook, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "BT MOUSE-1" (for BT1 mode) or "BT MOUSE-2" (for BT2 mode) from the list and click to connect.
- For iPad/iPhone (iOS 13/iOS 14) users:
- Open iPad Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch. Click to open (an auxiliary dot will appear on the screen).
- Go back to Settings > Bluetooth. Click to open and select "BT MOUSE-1" or "BT MOUSE-2" to connect and pair.

To switch between connected devices, simply slide the mode switch button on the underside of the mouse to the desired mode (2.4G, BT1, or BT2). The mouse will automatically connect to the last paired device in that mode.
