The Z880-C features a built-in 2.4G NEEWER Q System, allowing it to function as both a master and slave unit. It supports 4 master groups (A/B/C/D), 5 slave groups (A/B/C/D/E), 32 channels (1-32), and 99 IDs (1-99). This enables wireless flash synchronization within 328'/100m (without obstacles) when used with compatible Q system triggers (e.g., QPRO-C Trigger, sold separately).

5.2 Cleaning

To clean the flash unit, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, remove the battery and store the flash in a cool, dry place, preferably in its protective case.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Flash not firing: Ensure the battery is charged and correctly installed. Check if the flash is securely mounted on the camera's hot shoe. Verify camera and flash settings are compatible (e.g., flash mode, sync speed).
  • Inconsistent exposure: Check flash mode (TTL for automatic, M for manual control). Adjust flash exposure compensation if in TTL mode. Ensure the flash head is positioned correctly for bounce or direct flash.
  • Wireless communication issues: Verify that both the master and slave units are set to the same group, channel, and ID. Ensure there are no significant obstacles between the units. Check battery levels on all units.
  • Flash overheating: Continuous high-power flashes can cause the unit to overheat. Allow the flash to cool down if an overheating warning appears. Reduce flash power or increase the interval between flashes.
