Setup

Charging the Speaker

  1. Locate the Type-C charging port on the rear panel of the speaker.
  2. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
  4. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours and provides up to 6 hours of playback time, depending on volume levels.

Powering On/Off

  1. To power on the speaker, locate the On/Off switch on the rear panel and slide it to the "ON" position.
  2. To power off, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.

Operating Modes

The FREEFISH Retro Speaker supports multiple playback modes: Bluetooth, FM Radio, TF Card, USB Drive, and AUX Input.

1. Bluetooth Connection

  1. Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by an audible prompt "Bluetooth mode".
  2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "AS23" from the list of devices to pair.
  4. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  5. The speaker will automatically connect to previously paired devices when powered on, if they are within range (up to 32 feet).
  6. Use your connected device to control music playback and volume. The speaker also supports Bluetooth hands-free calling.

2. FM Radio

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna on the rear panel for optimal reception.
  2. Press the "Mode" button (first button on the top panel) until you hear "FM mode".
  3. Rotate the large circular dial on the front of the speaker to tune into FM radio stations.
  4. Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume buttons on the top panel.

3. TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a TF (MicroSD) card containing MP3 audio files into the TF card slot on the rear panel.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playing audio. If not, press the "Mode" button to select TF card mode.
  3. Use the playback control buttons on the top panel to play/pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume.

4. USB Drive Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the rear panel.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing audio. If not, press the "Mode" button to select USB mode.
  3. Use the playback control buttons on the top panel to play/pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume.

5. AUX Input

  1. Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX input port on the rear panel of the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop).
  3. Press the "Mode" button until you hear "AUX mode".
  4. Control playback and volume primarily from your external device.
