2. Important Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.

  • Touch Screen: For selecting beverages and adjusting settings.

4. Setup and First Use

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the espresso machine and all accessories from the packaging.

4.2 Initial Cleaning

  1. Wash the water tank, milk container, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.

4.3 Filling Water and Beans

  1. Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level.
  2. Open the lid of the coffee bean container and fill it with whole coffee beans. Do not use ground coffee in this container.
  3. Ensure the milk container is clean and filled with desired milk if preparing milk-based beverages.

4.4 Power Connection

  1. Place the machine on a stable, level surface.
  2. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  3. The machine will perform an initial self-check. Follow any on-screen prompts.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Coffee Preparation (Espresso)

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled and coffee beans are in the container.
  2. Place a cup under the coffee dispenser.
  3. On the touch screen, select "Espresso".
  4. The machine will automatically grind the beans, brew, and dispense the espresso.

5.2 Adjusting Grind Settings

The machine features 15 adjustable grind settings for optimal flavor extraction. Adjust the grind fineness using the dial located inside the bean hopper. Finer grinds are suitable for espresso, while coarser grinds are better for other coffee types. Adjust only when the grinder is operating or empty.

5.3 Preparing Milk-Based Beverages (Cappuccino, Latte)

  1. Fill the milk container with cold milk. Connect the milk tube to the machine's milk frother port.
  2. Place a cup under the coffee and milk dispensers.
  3. Select your desired milk-based beverage (e.g., "Cappuccino" or "Latte") from the touch screen.
  4. The machine will automatically froth the milk and dispense it, followed by the espresso.

5.4 Adjustable Coffee Drip

The coffee dispenser height is adjustable to accommodate various cup sizes and prevent splashing. Gently push or pull the dispenser to adjust its height.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your espresso machine.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

  • Drip Tray: Empty and rinse the drip tray daily.
  • Milk System: After each milk-based beverage, perform a quick rinse cycle for the milk frother. Detach and clean the milk container and tube with warm soapy water.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.

6.2 Weekly Cleaning

  • Brewing Unit: Remove the brewing unit (refer to the machine diagram for location). Rinse it thoroughly under running water. Allow it to air dry before reinserting.
  • Coffee Grounds Container: Empty and clean the coffee grounds container.

6.3 Descaling

The machine will indicate when descaling is required. Use a suitable descaling solution designed for espresso machines and follow the on-screen instructions or the descaling solution's instructions carefully.
