5. Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your CoYlBod Butane Torch Lighter for use:

  1. Ensure Compatibility: Verify that your butane gas canister has a short nozzle and a snap joint connection. The torch head is designed exclusively for this type of canister.
  2. Attach Torch Head: Align the torch head connector with the top of the butane gas canister. Press down firmly and twist clockwise until it securely locks into place. Do not overtighten.
  3. Check for Leaks: After attachment, listen for any hissing sounds or smell gas. If a leak is detected, immediately disconnect the torch head in a well-ventilated area and ensure the connection is correct. If the leak persists, do not use the product.

6. Operating Instructions

Operate your CoYlBod Butane Torch Lighter as follows:

  1. Ignition: Ensure the gas valve is slightly open. Press the ignition switch button. The piezo ignition will generate a spark to light the flame. If the flame does not ignite, adjust the gas valve and try again.
  2. Adjusting Flame Size: Rotate the green knob at the rear of the torch head to increase or decrease the flame size.
  3. Adjusting Flame Pattern: Rotate the green ring near the nozzle to adjust the flame pattern from a soft, broad flame to a concentrated, spit fire.
  4. 360° Use: The torch can be used at any angle, including inverted, for various applications.
  5. Turning Off: To extinguish the flame, fully close the gas valve by rotating the green knob counter-clockwise until the flame disappears. Ensure no gas is escaping.
