Setup
1. Battery Installation
The FCXJTU YS-805C Stopwatch requires one AAA battery (included). To install or replace the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the stopwatch.
- Carefully slide or unclip the cover to open it.
- Insert one AAA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.

2. Power On/Off
To power on or off the stopwatch, press and hold the ON/OFF button (center button) for approximately 5 seconds. This function helps conserve battery life when the device is not in use.

Operating Instructions
The FCXJTU YS-805C features three primary buttons for operation:
- START/STOP (Right Button): Initiates and pauses timing.
- MODE/ON/OFF (Center Button): Switches between Stopwatch and Countdown Timer modes, and powers the device on/off.
- SPLIT/RESET (Left Button): Records lap times in stopwatch mode or resets values in countdown mode.

1. Stopwatch Mode
In Stopwatch mode, the device measures elapsed time with 1/100th second accuracy, up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.
- Ensure the stopwatch is in Stopwatch mode. If not, press the MODE button until "STOPWATCH" is displayed.
- Press START/STOP to begin timing.
- To record a lap time, press SPLIT/RESET while the stopwatch is running. The display will momentarily show the lap time, then return to the total elapsed time.
- Press START/STOP again to pause the timer.
- To resume timing, press START/STOP.
- To reset the stopwatch to zero, ensure it is paused, then press SPLIT/RESET.
2. Countdown Timer Mode
The Countdown Timer allows setting a specific duration, up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds, and counts down to zero.

- Press the MODE button until "TIMER" is displayed.
- To set the countdown time:
- Press SPLIT/RESET to select the digit to adjust (hours, minutes, seconds).
- Press START/STOP to increase the selected digit.
- Once the desired time is set, press START/STOP to begin the countdown.
- To pause the countdown, press START/STOP. Press again to resume.
- When the countdown reaches zero, an alarm will sound (if enabled).
- To reset the countdown timer to the previously set time, press SPLIT/RESET while the timer is paused.
