Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your PHOINIKAS G9000 headset.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the headset and earcups regularly. For deeper cleaning of earcups, gently wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the headset to prevent damage.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the headset frequently. Charge the headset fully (approximately 3 hours) before first use and when the battery is low. The headset offers 35-40 hours of battery life without LED effects, and 15-20 hours with LED effects.
- Cable Management: When not in use, coil cables neatly to prevent tangling and damage.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PHOINIKAS G9000 headset, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Sound/Microphone Not Working in 2.4G Wireless Mode: Ensure the USB dongle is securely plugged into the device. Verify the headset is powered on and successfully paired (LEDs should be solid). Check device audio settings to ensure the headset is selected as the output/input device.
- Microphone Invalid on Nintendo Switch: The microphone function is not supported on Nintendo Switch in 2.4GHz wireless mode. Use 3.5mm wired mode for microphone functionality on Switch.
- No Wireless Connection with Xbox One: 2.4G wireless and Bluetooth are not compatible with Xbox One devices. Xbox series consoles only support 3.5mm wired mode. Non-3.5mm connector Xbox One versions require an additional adapter.
- LED Lights Not Working: LED lights are only available in wireless mode. Ensure the headset is powered on and in wireless mode.
- Sound Quality Issues (Echoing/Cutting Out): Ensure the microphone is securely connected and positioned correctly. Check for any obstructions or interference in the 2.4GHz signal path. Try moving closer to the USB dongle.
- Headset Not Charging: Ensure the USB charging cable is correctly connected to the headset and a power source. Verify the power source is active.
