Setup

Binocular Adjustment

1. Adjusting Eyecups: Twist the eyecups up or down to achieve a full field of view. If you wear spectacles, keep the eyecups fully retracted. If you do not wear spectacles, extend the eyecups to a comfortable position.
2. Adjusting Interpupillary Distance: Hold the binoculars up to your eyes and adjust the hinge until you see a single, clear circular field of view. This aligns the binoculars with your eye spacing.
3. Focusing:
   • First, close your right eye and look through the left barrel. Rotate the central focus wheel until the image is sharp.
   • Next, close your left eye and look through the right barrel. Rotate the diopter adjustment ring (usually on the right eyepiece) until the image is sharp.
   • Once the diopter is set, you can use the central focus wheel for all subsequent focusing. The Smart-Focus Fast-Focus System allows for quick and precise adjustments.

Attaching the Waith Binocular Harness Strap

1. Thread the binocular's carrying strap loops through the quick-release clips on the harness strap.
2. Adjust the harness straps to achieve a comfortable and secure fit, ensuring the binoculars rest at an accessible height on your chest. The ergonomic design helps distribute weight evenly.

Attaching the Waith Universal Floating Strap

1. Locate the attachment point on your binoculars, typically a small loop or ring.
2. Securely attach the quick-release clip of the floating strap to this point. Ensure it is firmly fastened before use, especially near water.

Operating Instructions

Once your binoculars are properly adjusted, hold them steady and use the central focus wheel to bring distant objects into sharp view. Maintenance

Cleaning Lenses

• Use the provided Zeiss Box Lens Wipes or Waith Cleaning Cloth for optical surfaces.

• For stubborn dirt, breathe lightly on the lens to create condensation before wiping with the microfiber cloth.

General Care
