The Zaopin Z2 Wireless Mouse features a lightweight, ergonomic design with multiple buttons and indicators for optimal gaming and productivity.

Setup

Initial Installation:

1. Open the package and take out the receiver.
2. Connect the 4K USB receiver to a USB port on your computer.
3. Turn the switch at the bottom of the mouse to the 2.4G position.
4. For first-time installation, allow the computer to automatically detect and configure the mouse.
5. Alternatively, connect the mouse directly to your computer using the provided USB-C cable for wired mode operation.

Tri-Mode Versatile Connectivity:

The Zaopin Z2 supports three connection modes: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth wireless, and wired USB Type-C.

2.4GHz Wireless Mode:

For 2.4G mode, the mouse and receiver are pre-paired from the factory and can be used directly after connecting the receiver and setting the switch to 2.4G.

Bluetooth Wireless Mode:

To use Bluetooth mode, it is necessary to pair the mouse with your computer before using it.

Bluetooth Pairing Method:

1. Turn the switch on the bottom of the mouse to the BT position.
2. Press and hold the left, middle (scroll wheel click), and right buttons of the mouse simultaneously for three seconds.
3. At this time, the indicator light on the mouse will show a blue light flashing rapidly, indicating the mouse has entered Bluetooth pairing mode.
4. Open the Bluetooth settings on your computer or device.
5. Search for "ZaopinZ2" in the list of available devices and select it to pair.
6. Once successfully paired, the blue light will stop flashing.

Wired USB Type-C Mode:

Connect the provided USB-C cable directly from the mouse to your computer. The mouse will function in wired mode and charge simultaneously.

DPI Adjustment:

The DPI (Dots Per Inch) setting can be adjusted using the dedicated button on the bottom of the mouse. This controls the sensitivity and tracking speed of the mouse. Refer to the specifications section for available DPI settings.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

• Clicking: Use the left and right buttons for primary and secondary clicks.
• Scrolling: Use the scroll wheel to navigate through documents and web pages.
• Forward/Backward: Use the side buttons for quick navigation in supported applications.

Power and Charging Indicators:

• Red light flashing: Indicates low battery warning. Connect the mouse to a power source using the USB-C cable.
• Purple light flashing: Indicates charging in progress or the mouse is operating in wired mode.
• Cyan light flashing: Indicates the mouse is fully charged.
• Blue light flashing: Indicates the mouse bottom switch is set to BT mode and is in pairing mode.

If you do not use the mouse for a long time, it is recommended to turn off the mouse power using the switch on the bottom to conserve battery.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: When not in use, store the mouse in a cool, dry place, ideally in the provided carrying pouch, to protect it from dust and damage.
• Switch Replacement: The left and right click buttons feature swappable seats, allowing you to easily replace the included TTC micro-motion switches with your preferred ones using a pull-and-plug method. Use the provided screwdriver for this process.
