4. Setup

4.1 Connecting to a Laptop (with Touch Function)

  1. Connect the HDMI cable from your laptop's HDMI output to the monitor's HDMI input.
  2. Connect the Type-B to USB 3.0 cable from the monitor's Type-B Touch Port to a USB 3.0 port on your laptop. This enables touchscreen functionality.
  3. Connect the power cord to the monitor's DC Power Input and then to a power outlet.

Note: If your laptop does not have a USB 3.0 port, the touch function will not be supported.

4.2 Connecting to a PC (with Touch Function)

  1. Connect the HDMI or VGA cable from your PC's video output to the monitor's corresponding input.
  2. Connect the Type-B to USB 3.0 cable from the monitor's Type-B Touch Port to a USB 3.0 port on your PC. This enables touchscreen functionality.
  3. Connect the power cord to the monitor's DC Power Input and then to a power outlet.

Note: If your PC does not have a USB 3.0 interface, the touch function will not be supported.

4.3 Connecting to Raspberry Pi (with Touch Function)

  1. Connect an HDMI cable from your Raspberry Pi's HDMI output to the monitor's HDMI input.
  2. Connect the Type-B to USB 3.0 cable from the monitor's Type-B Touch Port to a USB 3.0 port on your Raspberry Pi. This enables touchscreen functionality.
  3. Connect the power cord to the monitor's DC Power Input and then to a power outlet.

Note: The Type-B to USB 3.0 cable and HDMI cable must be connected to both the monitor and the device. DC power supply is required for the monitor.

4.4 Connecting to Gaming Consoles (No Touch Support)

  1. Connect an HDMI cable from your gaming console (e.g., PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox, Switch) to the monitor's HDMI input.
  2. Connect the power cord to the monitor's DC Power Input and then to a power outlet.

Note: Touch functionality is not supported when connecting to gaming consoles.

4.5 Using the Built-in Stand

The monitor features a built-in foldable stand that allows for a 90-degree adjustment to achieve optimal viewing angles.

  1. Locate the foldable stand on the back of the monitor.
  2. Gently pull out the stand until it locks into position.
  3. Adjust the monitor to your desired viewing angle.

4.6 VESA Mounting

The monitor is equipped with 75x75mm VESA bracket holes for mounting on compatible VESA arms or stands (not included).

  1. Ensure the monitor is powered off and disconnected from all cables.
  2. Locate the VESA mounting holes on the back of the monitor.
  3. Attach the VESA mount according to the mount's instructions, securing it to the monitor's VESA holes.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button located on the bottom of the monitor to power it on or off.

5.2 Menu Navigation

Use the control buttons on the bottom of the monitor to navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. The Menu or Confirm button accesses the menu and confirms selections, while the UP/Volume Down/Brightness and Return buttons allow for navigation and adjustments.

5.3 Touchscreen Functionality

The monitor supports 10-point capacitive touch, allowing for intuitive interaction with compatible devices.

  • Touch: Single tap for selection or activation.
  • Enlarge/Narrow: Pinch in or out with two fingers to zoom.
  • Drag: Press and hold, then move your finger to drag items.
  • Multi-touch: Supports up to 10 simultaneous touch points for advanced gestures.

5.4 Display Modes

When connected to a laptop or PC, the monitor can operate in two primary display modes:

  • Duplicated Mode: The monitor displays the same content as your primary screen.
  • Extend Mode: The monitor acts as an extension of your primary screen, providing additional desktop space.

5.5 Privacy Screen Feature

The monitor incorporates a built-in privacy screen that limits the viewing angle to 60 degrees, preventing others from seeing your screen content from the sides.

  • Content is clearly visible when viewed directly from the front.
  • The screen appears dark or invisible to viewers positioned at angles greater than 60 degrees to the left or right.
