3. Assembly Instructions

The iATOM Johnny 5 Robot Building Set consists of 1176 pieces. Detailed, step-by-step assembly instructions are provided in the included paper manual. Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure correct construction of your robot model.

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation and Charging

  • The robot contains a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. Use the provided charging cable to charge the robot's internal battery. A full charge provides approximately 40 minutes of operation.
  • The remote control requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Insert them into the remote control's battery compartment, observing correct polarity.

4.2. Remote Control and App Pairing

The robot can be controlled via the included remote control or a mobile phone application. To establish a connection:

  1. Turn on the switch of the robot.
  2. Turn on the switch of the remote control. They will automatically connect. For mobile app control, download the dedicated application and follow the in-app instructions for pairing.

5. Operating Instructions

Once assembled and paired, the iATOM Johnny 5 Robot can perform various actions:

  • Movement: Use the remote control or mobile app to move the robot forward, backward, and turn in circles.
  • Head Rotation: The robot's head can rotate 360 degrees.
  • Articulated Joints: The arm joints and eyebrows are movable, allowing for various poses and expressions.
