1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the SMOTURE VC80 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner. Retain this manual for future reference.

  • This appliance is for household use only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
  • Do not allow children to operate the vacuum cleaner. Close supervision is necessary when used near children.
  • Do not pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
  • Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  • Do not use without the dust cup and/or filters in place.
  • Turn off the appliance before connecting or disconnecting the motorized brush, extension wand, or other accessories.

  • Do not handle the charger or appliance with wet hands.
  • If the appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.

3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The removable battery charges easily in approximately 4 hours, providing a runtime of 15 to 55 minutes depending on the power mode.

  1. Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the battery or the main motor unit.
  2. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
  3. The LCD screen will indicate charging status. The battery is fully charged when the indicator shows full.

3.2 Assembling the Vacuum Cleaner

Assemble the main components of your SMOTURE VC80 for use.

  1. Insert the extension wand into the main motor unit until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Attach the motorized floor brush to the other end of the extension wand until it clicks.
  3. Alternatively, attach desired accessories (crevice tool, 2-in-1 brush) directly to the main motor unit for handheld cleaning.

3.3 Wall Mount Installation

For convenient storage, you can install the provided wall mount bracket.

  1. Choose a suitable location near a power outlet, ensuring it is out of reach of children.
  2. Mark the drilling points using the bracket as a template.
  3. Drill holes and insert wall plugs (if necessary).
  4. Secure the wall mount bracket to the wall using screws.
  5. Hang the vacuum cleaner on the bracket for storage and charging.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button on the main motor unit to turn the vacuum cleaner on or off.

4.2 Suction Modes

The SMOTURE VC80 offers three suction modes (MIN, MED, MAX) and an intelligent automatic mode to adapt to different cleaning needs.

  • MIN Mode: For light cleaning and extended battery life.
  • MED Mode: Balanced power for everyday cleaning.
  • MAX Mode: Provides maximum suction power for stubborn dirt and deep cleaning.
  • Automatic Mode: The vacuum cleaner intelligently detects the type of floor and dirt level, automatically adjusting suction power up to 40,000 Pa. This mode is effective on both hard floors and carpets, increasing power on carpets for deeper cleaning without manual adjustments.

4.3 Smart LCD Touchscreen

The intelligent LCD touchscreen provides real-time information about your vacuum cleaner's status.

  • Battery Status: Displays the remaining battery charge.
  • Suction Mode: Shows the current operating mode (MIN, MED, MAX, AUTO).
  • Clog Reminders: Alerts you if there is a blockage in the vacuum path.
  • Cleaning Alerts: Notifies you when maintenance, such as filter cleaning, is required.

4.4 LED Floor Brush

The integrated LED lights on the motorized floor brush illuminate dark areas, helping you spot hidden dust and debris for a more thorough clean.

4.5 Self-Standing Design

The VC80 features a self-standing design, allowing you to conveniently park the vacuum upright anywhere without needing to lean it against a wall or lay it down. This enhances cleaning efficiency and convenience.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your SMOTURE VC80.

5.1 Emptying the Dustbin

Empty the dustbin regularly, especially when the 'Cleaning Alert' appears on the LCD screen or when it reaches its maximum fill line.

  1. Ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned off.
  2. Press the dustbin release button to detach it from the main motor unit.
  3. Open the dustbin lid and empty the contents into a trash can.
  4. Close the lid and reattach the dustbin to the motor unit until it clicks.

5.2 Cleaning the Filter System

The efficient filtration system, including the HEPA filter, captures fine particles. Clean filters regularly to maintain suction power.

  1. Remove the dustbin as described above.
  2. Twist and pull out the filter components (HEPA filter, mesh filter).
  3. Tap filters gently to remove loose dust. For thorough cleaning, rinse filters under cold running water.
  4. Allow all filter components to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling. Do not use a hairdryer or other heating devices.
  5. Reassemble the dry filters and reattach the dustbin.

5.3 Cleaning the Anti-Tangle Brush

The anti-tangle brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, but occasional cleaning may still be necessary.

  1. Ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned off and disconnected from power.
  2. Detach the motorized floor brush from the extension wand.
  3. Locate the brush roll release mechanism (usually a latch or button) and remove the brush roll.
  4. Use scissors or a cleaning tool to carefully cut and remove any tangled hair or debris from the brush roll.
  5. Clean the brush roll housing.
  6. Reinsert the brush roll and secure it in place.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your SMOTURE VC80, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
